I usually love choo choo food but today was a disaster! First the back of the container was completely ripped off so there was no way to close it. The lid was literally just sitting on top of the bottom of it. Brunswick stew is usually my favorite side but was so salty I couldn't eat it. No Texas toast and it comes with any plate. Website advertised baked beans with barbecue pork and onions in it. They weren't in it at all. Called and talked to the owner. I was saying I apologize if I've been rude but there were so many problems with the order and she hung up on me! I sent my friend back to pick up the replacement and he said she told him I was rude and a bitch!!!! I'm a retail manager and you can't treat people like that period. My wife and I try to go there at least once a week if not more. We have never had a bad experience. From the service to the salad bar it is always great. But their wings have become my favorite. Their bbq and main dishes are good. I usually like the pork potato or pork sandwich. Some of their sides are good my favorite are the okra, corn nuggets, Cole slaw or potato salad. Some of the other sides like the corn, Mac and cheese, pinto beans and green beans taste like they are poured straight out of a can. The service here is always great and the wait staff is friendly. Understanding that 80% of the staff is high school kids! That could care less about the customers order being correct! These Fried Pickles are A-1 and I'd just come back for them alone. I ordered the AYCE (All You Can Eat) ribs and 3 sides. Mac and Cheese, Cole Slaw, and green beans. A little under seasoned for my taste but I was hungry and it wasn't bad, so I ate it. The bbq sauce made the ribs more... tasty. However after the last time we bought a couple pounds to take home it was good as usual until I scooped out a spoon full and dicovered a big long hair in the meat. Right away I called the choo choo and asked to speak to the manager and explained to her what had happened. She just said she was sorry and would say something to the cooks. Well thats all fine and good, but we had to throw out all that bbq that had cost a good bit and was never offered a refund nor nothing. When we went up to the cash register to order it was fast and hard to look over the menu because it all looked so good. It took a while to get the food, but when we were home we opened it.
