Pretty decent Chinese/Thai food place. I like that their food is not greasy, is very flavorful, and does not skimp on the veggies. Our favorites are: -Pork fried rice (not as greasy as Great Wall) -Singapore Fried noodles (amazing! Great meat/veggie ratio etc) -Miso soup -Hot and Sour Soup -Fried spring rolls -stellar! -Thai tea Not good: -wonton soup--not sure what the seasoning is but it is not good (or my taste buds just don't care for it) -teriyaki chicken-super bland (Quickway's is better) -fried rice--Sushi Q's is better -Pad thai---wayyy too much basil ( I love basil but it was too much; Elephant Wok (Baltimore) Neisha Thai (Vienna), Siam Garden (Columbia) really kill it with their pad thai.) I had the General Tso Chicken for lunch with fried rice. Even though my friends like the food and Chopstixx...I was not impressed. My chicken was not sweet at all and there was barely any sauce to help flavor up the bland fried rice. Even though it was mediocre at best...I am willing to give it another shot. So you know how most Chinese foods totally make you feel sick after eating it? I did not feel that way at all at this place. I inhaled the food it was so good. The staff is oh so very kind and the food was amazing. I would definitely share one dish next time because the portions are enormous. Southeast Asian hawker food! Taiwanese style bentos! Never thought such a thing would exist in Elkridge of all places, but apparently it does, much to my delight. No more trekking out to Rockville when I need a taste from the other side of the world. The place is pretty small and sparse, but clean. So basically, I love their "street food" menu, which is pretty damn authentic. I had something from their "regular" menu once, and it's just average normal American-Chinese food. The "street food" menu, on the other hand, is where they really shine. My favorite is the "chicken cutlet with rice," which even comes with a hardboiled egg, bok choy, and ground pork rice for under $10. Seriously. The beef chow fun is pretty much how it's prepared Hakka-style in Taiwan. Their bubble teas are a bit lacking though - the bubbles/boba aren't as chewy as they should be and the milk teas taste a tiny bit powdery. (Then again, they barely have any competition in Howard County for bubble tea.) read more

I just had them for dinner so I'm going to write this review while it's fresh. I placed my order online and then called them to confirm since I'm actually staying at a hotel about a mile outside their delivery radius but they still delivered, which is AWESOME since it's raining outside! The order took exactly 45 minutes which is really not bad since Google said I was about 16 minutes away. The food was still nice and hot and they even included a plate and some extra forks for me. Unfortunately, they didn't provide chopsticks, for a place called chopsticks I was kind of expecting some. Anywho, I ordered a ton of food so I could have left overs and my order was perfect. The hot and sour soup tasted normal, how it's supposed to. The veggie spring rolls (fried, not the rice paper wrapper kind) were crispy and didn't taste like they had just come out of the freezer. The scallion pancakes were tasty. The sauce that came with the fried tofu was just right and it was a good portion size for the price. The veggie gyoza was good, I didn't care as much for the sauce that came with it, it needs something gingery. I really could/should have stopped with just the appetizers but I ordered an entree too. I was too full by that point to really dig into it but I definitely have something to look forward to tomorrow. To top it all off, I had a coconut boba drink which was really good and they remembered to pack a straw. They even threw in my favorite crunchy fried wonton chips!! The total bill plus delivery was around $30 which I would consider to be very reasonable for that amount of food. Next time I think I'll dine in instead so the tofu is a little crispier. If you're looking for good Chinese takeout, this is the place for you! Over the past several years, I've tasted just about everything this place has to offer, which is a lot! Some of the menu items aren't so great, but don't let that fool you: this is the BEST American-Chinese restaurants I've ever experienced in Maryland. Their delivery radius is pretty big, and their drivers and staff are always extremely friendly. It's always a good experience. The only negatives I've seen: 1. Although many menu items are terrific, some are bad enough that I wouldn't return if that was all I tried. Think stir fry with generic brown sauce or Mongolian Beef that is full of nearly raw white onion slices. 2. Several dishes contain way too many vegetables to take up space, be they broccoli, onions, carrots, etc... --only read on if you want really specific advice--- I always find menus for places like this overwhelming, and I always end up sticking with the same thing. Since I actually managed to try a lot of items from this place, here is a rundown of my opinions. Maybe it'll help you try something new you'll love instead of facing disappointment from your standard General Tso's and never returning to this place. Chopstixx has been a convenient location to the office for lunch delivery. Quality of the food has been tolerable however the service is quite another story. Often delivery would be late impacting food temperature. Who wants to eat cold Springs Rolls??? Been using their delivery service almost weekly for well over 2 years. I miss 1 delivery resulting in the food being returned & now Chopstixx refuses delivery. No consideration of my order history or customer loyalty. No further business from me. We stumbled across this place by accident and now it's one of our go to places. We've only every gotten varations of the pick three. You get a decent portion of the main entree, I finish mine and my small girlfriend has enough left over for lunch the next day. In addition to the entree, you get to pick two sides from a large selection and get a portion. They all run you about ten bucks, which is a steal for the amount of food you get. read more

I wouldnt normally post something like this but Iwould have given 4 stars as I am a regular custoner; however I usually receive friendly customer service when I go to this restaurant. The food is good been coming here for several years. Tonight was an exception to the usual friendly service. I walked in went to the counter and the cashier just looked at me. There was no greeting I said Hi and still no reaction. I gave my order and waited for the take out. While I was seated I observed several other customers approach the counter and was greeted and thanked for their patronize. When my order was ready the bag was handed with not a word. I spent $40.00 and not even a thank you. I reciprocated by taking my bag and walking out. Don't know what her issue was guess she just didn't like the way I looked. Come on manager/owner teach your staff to at least greet your customers a little bit of service can go a long way. read more

I come here pretty regularly after church on Sundays. For a takeout place, it's pretty impressive. Not your typical dishes and generous portions. I can usually split my order into two meals. My go to is the street menu. Asian pork over rice is one of my favorites followed by Thai fried rice. The Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle don't really taste like the original dishes, but they're still pretty good. As for beverages, this is probably one of the better places for boba in the area, though not amazing. I was a little disappointed that the egg pudding was a powder mix and not the actual pudding. If you're not in the mood for boba, I would actually recommend getting the Japanese iced green tea, half sweet, half unsweet. The original sweet green tea is way too sweet for me. read more

Been here 2 times after church service nearby. Servings are always really big, and adding a thai tea onto a meal off the street menu is only $1! The food is decent, and my friends love the place. Chopstixx is one of the best Chinese food restaurants in the area. However, that isn't saying much because Chinese food in Elkridge leaves a lot to be desired. Mostly the food is good but I had the fried wings twice and each time it was too heavy on the batter and extremely greasy. One of my lunch standbys when I'm at work. They are quick and easy. They have a great special for lunch. Soup, Rice, Crab Rangoon and a main for $6.99. I recommend the shrimp in lobster sauce. They also have assorted bubble teas. Place is pretty small and divey, so take out is a great option. read more

My go to place for Chinese/Thai. I've had their drunken noodles, kway teow, beef soup, seasame chicken, most of their sides, triple delight, and more. The brown base sauce is also bomb. I would recommend anything off the food menu except for the pork cutlet - a little too ligamenty if that makes sense. I would also skip out on the bubble tea. The service is super friendly. There aren't many places around that have Taiwanese style dishes - this happens to be one of the few, and their beef stew noodle soup and their pork chops over rice always do a decent job of satisfying my cravings. It's been too long since I've been able to enjoy my mom's home cooking regularly (parents live in Hawaii and I'm here in lovely Baltimore) - but this satiates the void. Service is always very quick and attentive - whether dining in or taking out; experiences are always pretty seemless. I will say - the food always tastes better when dining in - because the food in their containers comes out so hot, it continues to steam itself slightly - so by the time things like fried pork chops that should be crispy get eaten at home, they are a little soft and the crunch is left to be desired. The flavors and tenderness still make up for this negative however - and there's not much else that can be done to rectify this, except for dining at the restaurant. read more

Ordered lomein and fried rice and delight family for delivery yesterday. The food wasn't good as I expected. The pork meat tastes weird, like had been cooked for few days. The shrimp wasn't fresh. I had to pick out all shrimp and meat out and just eat vegetables only. Not mention the food wasn't hot by the time they delivered to me( less than 3 miles). Great place to eat near UMBC's campus if you're craving Asian good. Their fried calamari is delicious, perfect size to share or eat all yourself. A lot of things on their "street menu" is also very good (and cheap). Their bubble tea is also a must. Sometimes I just go for bubble tea.
