Love it when places do that. As for food, the sushi rolls were good, not great. Pretty straightforward selection of rolls, nothing too inventive or fried or spicy. Next time I would probably try nigiri or maybe some soba to see if they are more interesting. They also have tepanyaki tables which seemed popular.

Loved the decor and the casual, intimate atmosphere. We tried the sashimi, vegetable gyoza, salmon don, wagyu beef, seafood fried rice, and finished with the chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was delicious. If I had to offer a critique, I'd say the wagyu was just okay--not bad, just okay. Deep respect to the kitchen for executing such a comprehensive menu. There was ramen, rice bowl, udon, sushi, sashimi, shabu, maki, nigiri, etc.   I tried the maguro mix don that had chu-toro, o-toro, and akami on top of white rice. This was a perfectly balanced meal. A good fatty texture on the sashimi. Rice to fish ratio was also good. It was refreshing from all the food we've been eating in CDMX. We all enjoyed our don and ramen.   Service was a bit slow regarding when our food came out but they brought out everyone's food at the same time. The restroom was clean as well. The indoor seating looks spacious. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here and would recommend this spot if you're looking for Japanese food in the Roma Norte area.
