Just had our house painted by CHP and it looks fantastic! The team of Zach, Seth, and Steven were remarkable and they were very much detail oriented. They did a very clean job and were always asking us if we were satisfied with everything they were doing over the 4 day period. We had Eric from Custom Home Painters of Cheyenne come out and give us a quote to do custom floors for the garage, our back patio, and our front porch. The price was right about where we were expecting, and the next Monday two guys came out and busted out all the work in just one day! The results were better than we expected, and we couldn't be happier with how it was all done. Great people, great product, and great craftsmanship. I highly recommend them. read more

Wow what a great crew! Showed up on time with six crew members worked the first day until 1900 with my go ahead. Showed up the next morning at 0700. Did outstanding work and cleaned up properly! read more

We contracted to have surface repair done on our garage floor: grinding, patching, sealing, and application of the Polyurea Chip System with a grip texture. It turned out terrific! Everyone was helpful and prompt. It took a day to apply and another day to completely cure. My husband says it makes him smile every time he looks at it. read more

Excellent customer service and results. They helped turn my sad dilapidated deck into something beautiful!! Everyone that I had to work with were excellent communicators, prompt with responses, and efficiently completed the project with no inconvenience to me. What a wonderful job the guys did painting the interior of my house. They took extra care to tape and mask off everything and did an excellent job cleaning up when they were finished. They did a fantastic job with the painting process as well ensuring that the walls/ceiling were coated properly and that the lines were clean and straight. The crew was super nice and polite and they started timely and worked late each night. They will be back to do the exterior of my home and I can't wait. Such a fabulous company!!!! The work was completed in a timely fashion. The workers were responsible and always showed up on time and when they said they would. The cost was a bit expensive but very much worth it! The foreman kept in good communication with me and I was always asked if my painting needs were being met. A great group of employees. I would strongly recommend them and this company. History

Established in 2014.

CHP started as Custom Home Painters of Cheyenne in 2014. Eric McDonald, the founder, had run successful painting companies in other towns since 2010. When he and his wife, Erin, moved to Cheyenne, he was ambitious to start a more sustainable and professional painting company. Our focus starts with a young generation entering into the workforce that deserves the chance to prove themselves to the world. These individuals are full of energy, optimism and potential, and it's our duty to train and mentor them into working professionals. With empowered employees, our clients notice a sense of genuine thoughtfulness in our attitudes and thoroughness in our work. As we grew in popularity, we noticed ourselves not just working in Cheyenne and not just working on houses. Our reach and scope of work has dramatically grown into commercial painting, concrete coatings all over the region. Custom Home Painters of Cheyenne no longer represented who we were, so a rebranding to CHP in 2023 emerged.

Meet the Business Owner: Eric M.

Eric McDonald received his bachelors degree in Engineering at UW, but his love for entrepreneurship led him to start his own painting company and he has never looked back. Eric has a beautiful Erin, and 3 children. Eric is all about building relationships with his customers and is more focused on keeping his good name and serving your correctly verses making a quick buck. Eric is a humble Christian, a devoted husband and an ecstatic dad who would love to be able to meet you and service your needs.

This woman named Angel missed several appointments to even inspect the damaged material. We are still trying to get her to respond and correct this problem. Our next step will be small claims. Dillon and his crew were outstanding they were on time the entire process and completed the job when they said they would. They were very professional the entire time and communicated with me through out the entire project to ensure I was pleased with what was happening. When they finished the job they had me go through and check for any touchups that needed to be done and responded immediately and came back out and took care of it.
