My husband wasn't initially too thrilled about having engagement photos taken in the first place, but the fact that Michael was such a down-to-earth, cool person made a huge difference for us. We didn't want an overabundance of canned/staged poses and pictures. We ended up using our own photos taken on a phone. As of Nov 7, the refund was not received.  I contacted the owner via phone.  The owner did not recall her commitment to refund until I shared an email she had written stating she would refund our money. On Nov 11th we met and she returned our money and apologized for the situation.

It was super easy to book a session and it was a gorgeous farm in Bethel OH. Emily kept the session very fun and light. We mostly joked and laughed a lot and it didn't even feel unnatural or staged. My husband who is usually shy, said after the session that he actually had a fun time, so that in my books is a big WIN! The gallery was delivered within literally 2 days, so quick and the photos turned out to be absolutely GORGEOUS! The colors, the light, everything looked in perfect synchrony! I first heard about her at a church I attend with my wife last week. A fellow parishioner spoke of her holiday photo session with her sons and talked my wife into scheduling our holiday photos with Angie. After researching her website, I was skeptical because her prices and packages were incredibly generous, i.e. "too good to not have some sort of catch". But I love my wife and of course supported her curiosity about this Angie person. I was suprised when she called her and was told she had to schedule us three months out at the very soonest. I was even more shocked when my wife booked it regardless. Angie is incredibly thoughtful. She took the time to squeeze in a shoot yesterday; and I had an absolute blast in her studio. This is a guy saying that! Angie really put my wife and I in a realm of class and glamour with every click of her Nikon. She also handled our "slightly" rambunctious children with such finess and grace. True, I have a bias, I recognize that . That aside, the pictures were wonderfully framed, they were so well composed I couldn't pick a favourite. Each one captured the emotion we felt, and did it so elegantly. I wanted to print each and every one! Each one was timeless (to us) and each one was just perfect. Our friends also commented on how beautiful the images were and they were! Putting aside the fact that pictures were just sublime for a moment, what else makes this a 5 star experience. Stephanie was responsive, communicative and thoughtful in our conversation. She was available via email and telephone and replied more swiftly than I would have even expected. She not only came thru with helpful suggestions for the day, but took time to come early and help me figure out what the heck to do when my original plan fell thru for a lack of attentiveness on my part. There is something to be said for the expertise and quick thinking on her part which enabled the day to go thru smoothly. While I would have gladly paid a lot more for the pictures, and it is hard to put a price to such a wonderful moment in our lives, I must say she is very reasonably priced. So great price, great communication, great results. My only grief here I could not give them more stars than just five.
