I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience so others know what to expect. I came in for an extension reinstall and unfortunately had several issues. The rows were installed unevenly--one side sat much higher than the others. The rows weren't flush with my scalp, causing bubbling and discomfort, and there were a bunch of beads missing in the back. Also, a string was left hanging in one row, which seems careless and lacks attention to detail. I also had to ask for blending after the install, but even then, the extensions were still quite visible. While the stylist was kind and responsive in the past, the quality of this service just didn't meet expectations. Extensions are a big investment, and I left feeling self-conscious and frustrated. I've since decided to find another stylist. Hoping this helps others make an informed decision. read more

Do not go here!!!!! My friend went here for extensions and they were absolutely horrible, I honestly feel as though she should be reported to the BBB for them. Crocked rows, thread left hanging, parts not even sewn in. I think I probably could have done better if I tried. The worst part was other stylist were learning from her as she did them! She has been with me through crazy red highlights, super short boycuts, long cuts, Brazilian blow outs, long bobs, A-lines, you name it....and soon when I'm done with grad school we are going to do extensions and OMBRÉ!! If you need a hair stylist who will make your hair look FABULOUS, go to Amy. She always cuts my hair like I'm a movie star and makes it perfect. If the cut needs to be done wet she does it or if it's something she needs to flat iron first she spends the time to make sure it's perfect. This place is so awesome, I don't even know where to start. The staff and owner are very nice and courteous, they like to make sure you are comfortable. I had two services done at Chris Le Salon, first was the all over hair color of my choice which was like a black cherry color. That went awesome just the right color to match the hair extensions. Nuvia was my hair specialist and I was so impressed with her experience with hair coloring skills. Second service was the application of the 22 inch hair extensions. Once my hair was ready for the hair extensions, Nuvia started to part my hair, and carefully apply the extensions to where I can wear my hair up or down and not reveal where the extensions were applied. Once all hair pieces were in place, they styled and carefully cut selected areas to blend my natural hair with the hair extensions but keeping length! I will always go back to this salon and I will recommend this place to everyone! Hair extensions used 100% Remy human hair you can curl, straighten, color just as if it's your own hair. Very disappointed in my haircut and styling done by Nuvia. Cut it too short when I had asked to trim only the ends. I can still feel her sharp nails digging into my scalp while shampooing. I have gone to many different salons. This is the worst cut and styling I have ever gotten. I can style better by just using my blow drier. Coloring was done well. But overall experience was bad. Anti social and too hurried/brash. Look at the pics for the "styling" I definitely do not recommend this stylist to anyone. There was another guy who did a great styling job on another customer. That was the worst haircut experience I've ever had, and I've been to Great Clips!!!! Don't go here, at least if you're a guy. The girl I had was terrible. My appt was at 5:00 and I'm writing this at 5:14...she couldn't get done fast enough!!!! She also didn't listen to what I wanted, just started chopping, side burns went first, WTH!?? The length of my hair is totally inconsistent, it's longer at my neck line than half way up my head! I normally pay $50 for my haircut but was insulted to be charged $25 for what I received. If your blonde, this is not the Salon for you. They did try to fix their debacle but were very unsuccessful. If a salon asks if you use purple shampoo, run! No need to pay $150-250 and then have to use purple shampoo, it drys out your hair which they even admitted to but it's not a secret. So um bleaching+recommending a shampoo proven to dry out your hair = hair breakage. I won't return, they have no time to care after you pay. When you leave a salon. You should feel vibrant, not omg I need a hat!!! read more

I really wanted light brown highlights, so I decided to try here. But, one of the employees mixed up the light brown dye base, with the GOLDEN dye base. My hair is really dark brown so any highlights I get will be really noticeable (which is why I wanted them done at a salon, not DIY at home) At first, I didn't even see them in the salon because my wet hair covered them. When my hair dried when I got home, there were golden streaks all down my hair! :( I went back to the salon the next day or two asking for a refund but they said they could re-tone it. After they used re-toner on my hair, it was light brown with noticeable golden hairs layering it! I gotta admit, it looked alot better than bright golden, but it was still pretty bad...almost a copper color. I decided to just give up and wait for it to grow out. That was during the summer and people are still asking me why I have gold in my hair... If I were you I would save your hair and go elsewhere! Sorry, I would not recommend this place to friend. :( read more

She was very knowledgeable about hair types, the best techniques working with each, and the difference neck length makes in the final look of a shorter cut. I had the worst experience of my life at this Salon, A day before New Year's eve I called the salon to ask if they have any openings for the next day, they said yes at 9. I was there at 8:55 Salon opened at 9:00 and the stylist who was going to cut my hair came at 9:13 DAVINA . Told her what i wanted she she seemed to be new in this career and not having much knowledge on haircuts but i was going to say anything she cut my hair put product on ans grabbed a mirror asked me do you like it??I said I can't really see the haircut on wet hair. She said I'll meet you at the front. I was shocked I said aren't you gonna style or dry my hair. She said I'm sorry I don't have timeand she really didn't even dry my hair and they let me get out on rain with wet hair.I waited for her 13 mintues she didnt have time to dry my hair 2 minutes woow .I don't thik there is any salon on the world who lets costumers to get out with wet hairs. read more

I had a haircut and style yesterday with Amy and I have to say that it is one of the best haircuts I have ever had. I went on a recommendation and am so happy I did. The salon is clean and cute, the staff friendly and the prices reasonable! Amy listened to what my concerns were ( I have really thick hair that I wear short and layered because that's about all I can do) and made suggestions and cut it so that it didn't look so bulky and heavy. She gave me a really cute cut that will grow out well and I already made my return appointment, I liked it that much! I was given Amy's name by two friends who both had really good cuts and color. Amy does an excellent job with my cut and color (blonde highlights) and I highly recommend going to her. RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went in, having never been there before, and Nuvia was my stylist. I showed pictures, lots of pictures. My naturally light golden blonde hair, I asked to be lightened a shade or two for summer to brighten it up. I came out with DARK GREEN HAIR! When I said that wasn't exactly what I was looking for and I showed her the same pictures again next to my now green hair she suggested a "clarifying shampoo" to fix it. So we did the "shampoo" it did "help"... Next her hair cut was a trim that took under 5 minutes; straight across trim. "NO STYLE" what so ever! But I was charged full price for a haircut. Any the "Style" was a straight blow dry. I asked her to keep it straight so that was on me but for the price they charge for a haircut I would expect they style it to make sure the cut is what you asked for.... 36 hours later, I have tried every light there is, different color clothes, everything, to make sure it's not just me. But no MY HAIR IS STILL GREEN! A lighter shade of green but still green. My first reaction was to put a review here but then I thought perhaps a phone call to them to let them know and maybe offer a fix would be a better first approach. So I called the salon and asked for an owner/manager. She was, at that time, 30 minutes late coming in and they couldn't say when she would be there. But I was told that when she got there she would be busy all day and not able to talk. So here it is for hopefully all the world to see. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS SALON. She's very helpful suggesting the correct products for my hair type, as well as new styles. The owner, Chris, always remembers me and our previous conversations, and makes an effort to stop by to chat when I'm in. On my second visit to this salon I was with stylist Nuvia (spelling?) and she gave me the WORST cut of my entire life, seriously - #1 worst cut. I have short hair, an inverted bob, and she cut entire sections of my hair out, leaving half an inch over my ear and on the crown of my head. I left in tears and it took 11 months to grow back to where I could get the cut I liked again. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is that the stylist who did my eyebrows did an amazing job.
