So when we moved to Hollister I had very high standards that I figured no other church would meet so I had prepared myself to be disappointed. I was blown away by this church, their authenticity is amazing. People who are genuinely passionate about God and care for each other and each others' well being and it was extended to me as a newcomer. I felt so welcomed and genuinely loved by everyone. The skeptical side of me thought that this may be just a one day deal, but I was wrong. Every Sunday was this way. People loving God and serving him passionately. Pastors who speak the word from the Bible and encourage you to dig deeper in the word. Challenging you to be and do better and lovingly hold you accountable. This church loves its community to. My old church was great don't get me wrong, but my new church Abundant Life Foursquare Church, has developed and grown me in my relationship with God in a way that hadn't happened before. Gregorian chant and Mass in Latin, organ music, high altar, kneelers to take the sacrament at the rail,and kneelers in the pews. Very inspiring taken altogether with the beautiful Windows and statuary and music makes for an unforgettable worship experience. Followed by scrumptious potluck social gathering and what a loving group of people so welcoming. It was held there for the first time this Sunday and this extraordinary rite will be repeated every Sunday at 10:30 on college street in downtown Hollister English/Latin missals are available as you enter so you can follow along Dominus Vobiscum

The pastor has been with the church since August 2004 after the other pastor, who was part time for 2 churches, was called to be full time in San Jose. I enjoy this church because it preaches the truth and has a well bonded church family. It is always clean and has different classes for different ages. The kids club did an awesome Christmas play recently and they always seem to have a good time. They have a nursery with a TV that is connected to a camera so they can see what's going on during service. They have 3 projection screens, 2 for the audience and one for the choir. The pastor has a good mixture of when to be hilarious and when to be serious. The music is lively and the musicians and choir are very anointed. Overall, i think this is a great church.
