As parents that live out of state, we are baffled by the lack of care that she received. She sat in the waiting room , after being taken back to get her vitals, and have a port put in her arm for dehydration, for 2 hours with severe vomitting and diarrhea symptoms. I assume the port was put in during her initial check knowing that fluids and anti nausea meds were needed. To say she was visibly upset during her hours spent waiting, is a complete understatement. I had multiple conversations with her during that time, and between the exhaustion of 12 plus hours of no sleep because of the symptoms, and the lack of any kind of knowledge of what was coming, she was beyond consolation. My older daughter that had dropped her off initially (that has 2 kids under 3 so she couldn't stay with herj , went back to see her sister sittting in the ER room with a port in her arm and a bag of vomit on her lap, as weak as could be. She demanded that her sister either be seen immediately, or that they needed to take the port out so she could take her to a different facility. One of the front desk nurses actually listened to her, and they were told that she would be the next patient taken back and that a "floating doctor" would see her asap, as all of the ER doctors were extremely busy. Said doctor arrived, and the meds were ordered. Pretty quickly, she was hooked up to an IV with fluids and anti nausea meds only to be told as the meds were being administered that she would have to sit in the waiting room with the IV for what would assumably be hours for the IV to be administered. I was actually on the phone with my daughters as the oldest one tried to advocate for her sick sister to find out if there was even just a chair that she could sit on someplace so that she wasn't out in the waiting room with the general population, only to be met with a resounding no. I could hear my youngest daughter sobbing out of stress, sickness, and exhaustion, They were told that if an open bed became available, she was eligible and what my daughter asked if her sister would get the first open bed, she was told no. My oldest daughter than told the person who was "caring" for her sister to take the IV out, during which time she was vomittng, and blood from the removal of the IV was all over her pants. The lack of empathy, the complete disregard for any dignity for my daughter, is beyond unacceptable. It is completely understood that the ER was extremely busy, we knew that was going or be the case with her going in. What we didn't know was the lack of integrity within this establishment

The front desk, the lady who took information and the person who did the IV were all very kind and helpful. I won't fault the ER with the fact that there was a family not parenting their child allowing her to run all over the place, rolling on the dirty floor and jumping on the furniture but the wait was horrid. I was finally taken back and hooked up to monitors and tested. The dr was very kind and apologetic for the wait. After my scan I had to use the bathroom and had to call three times basically begging for help. I was tethered so needed a nurse. I thought I was going to pee the bed. I was discharged and told I could leave with my paperwork dropped on the bed. I got to the hallway and followed the exit signs only to end up in the lobby that was closed. I was in pain, medicated and exhausted so decided to move the gate and exit through the closed lobby. Of course a policeman saw me and was upset that I used a closed part of the hospital. I have used this ER before and it seems that it is normal practice to just release people without making sure they can find their way out. I realize there are exit signs but they don't help when parts of the hospital are closed. How about the nurse getting patients to the exit? After being there for nine hours, in pain, medicated and exhausted a little help would have been appreciated

I had what I thought was a bug bite on the back of my neck. It quickly progressed to a swollen lymph node and electric-like pain radiating up the right side of my head from the back of my skull and wrapped around to my forehead. I knew it wasn't my "normal" neck pain (I lived with a herniated disc for 10 years) and I knew it wasn't meningitis because my neck wasn't stiff, no fever, etc. but I could not figure out what was going on. I said all of this to Dr. Kevin Juozapavicius when I got there. Even though the pain was excruciating, I wasn't even asking for pain meds. All I asked for was some bloodwork to start getting *some* kind of information and start ruling things out. He/she said nothing was wrong with me and that they would absolutely not order any bloodwork. He/she discharged me after doing literally nothing. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and asked "are you serious?" and he/she went off on me - so incredibly rude and disrespectful. The nurse was even shocked and appalled at how he/she treated me. Guess what?! IT WAS SHINGLES!! This "doctor" not only dismissed me with zero care, they gaslit me and treated me like garbage. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had and tell everyone I know not to go there.

Extremely dismissive and refused to listen to pertinient information regarding any attempted explanations. Actually clapped their hands at me, as I was explaining the day's medications, in order to stop me from speaking. This was before they "allowed" my family to join me. After that, his/her tone changed dramatically. He/she then tried to suddenly sound concerned. It probably helped that they actually viewed testing results and learned actual conditions. Did not realize they were just a D.O. and not an M.D. I don't trust any information they provided. I am angeredthat this person is allowed to care for patients. I have seen others there who were far more competent and caring.

When you enter, we head all the way to the back, passing restrooms and lots of colorful artwork done by local students. There is usually someone at the first desk taking names to check you in upon arrival. When you sit, it doesn't usually take long for your child's name to be called to one of the desks where you finish registration. Sometimes, you are also given a tablet to finish some questions if it's been awhile since your last visit. Then you wait for your doctor to be ready. This location sees many different types of patients. I can only speak to what we've been there for but I know there are many options when visiting. We've done: ENT, Orthopedics (specifically for Scoliosis), X-ray, hearing test and the Urgent Care. We love all of these available doctors coming closer to us. Now, some doctors take more time than others to get to you. We've sat in the waiting room for 2 minutes and for 25. We've sat in the patient room for similar times. But those times are based on the doctors, not the location. We like the cleanliness of the space, the friendliness of the employees and the close parking. The place always smells clean. It's easy to book your next appointment on the way out! And our favorite part is that we usually stop for a quick bite to eat or a sweet treat on the way home thanks to all of the restaurants and establishments close by! I highly recommend visiting this office if you don't want to make the trek to Cincy!

Don't go here if you don't like surprise bills for random things. Feels very scammy to me.read more

Yet again, the person doing the blood work was friendly and engaging, It made me very comfortable. He explained his process of finding the best location to take my blood and it was done quickly and painlessly. I've been to this hospital multiple times for myself and with other people and I've seen nothing but the highest quality facility and staff. There is nothing I could suggest that they could improve upon.

The phlebotomists were sweet and an easy stick, but they were asking me what to do with the test. ? I don't know my doctor said hand you the box. A week and a half later I don't have my results so we call. They canceled the test. These professionals didn't know what to do with my test, and instead of calling my doctor or utilizing the resources listed inside the box such as a phone number and provided labels, they instead took my blood samples, threw them in the trash, canceled the test and continued with their day. This is the health of my child and my own health as well and they couldn't care less. If you can avoid it I would not go to this lab. It's okay to not know something - it's not okay to dispose of a sample test that costs $400 and not even notify me while I'm waiting for my results. The one star is for the woman working the front desk. She was very sweet. And really everyone was nice. But throwing my test away like trash is unforgivable.

That was the only "care" I received -- no prescription, no real assistance. My appointment was at 11 a.m., and I had to wait 30 minutes for the doctor. The staff were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. When I called later, they claimed they couldn't understand me and simply hung up. This experience was unacceptable. Asking those kinds of questions without providing any actual help is not only inappropriate but also shows a complete lack of professionalism and basic respect for patients. If someone truly wants to end their life, they are unlikely to answer such questions honestly. Asking every patient these same questions in this way does not feel helpful or effective. In many cases, appropriate treatment, including antidepressants, can actually help people much more. Honestly, this was one of the least helpful experiences I've had in a medical setting in the United States. I came for help, but instead felt dismissed and misunderstood.
