We were looking for a church 6-7 years ago. After disappointing visits at several other area Lutheran churches, we visited Christ Lutheran Church. After the first service, we just knew this was where we belonged. The folks were friendly, the service was uplifting, the atmosphere was relaxed, yet spiritual. Our requirements were simple - an uplifting worship service and preaching. Anything beyond that was "gravy" for us. As we became acquainted, there was much more - meaningful adult eduction, choir, small groups, for example. We were just plain drawn in by the friendly congregation and staff. I felt welcomed at this church from the first moment I walked in the door. The sermons are excellent and the music is wonderful. I truly thought finding a new church would be a tough decision until I walked in the doors of Christ Lutheran Church. Also, the nursery is visible from the sanctuary, which is wonderful for a parent of a two-year-old. This church has a young spirit filled with enthusiasm. They have a lot of ministries for everyone to participate in from Youth Ministries, to choir, to food drives, to blood drives. My family loves this church! The people are so friendly, worship is engaging and uplifting, and the preaching is outstanding.
