I highly recommend them because they have helped a few of our friends and family through the divorce process and they were very satisfied. My cousin told us that you explained each aspect of divorce in Suffolk County, NY, which she said was very helpful. You helped them with issues of child custody and child support, as well as their financial settlement. My cousin said you responded to all their questions promptly and turned around their paperwork very quickly and that you helped them keep the stress level down and said they you were always there for them, which made her very happy in this stressful time. Because of your professionalism and kindness, they are recommending you to their friends so thank you!

We are very amicable and had essentially written out all our terms prior to meeting them but gave them that grace time. When the 10 weeks were up they were still giving "covid" excuses. When they finally delivered the first draft it was missing all kinds of information that we had already provided. We were told not to call or email with corrections, that we had to do it via a zoom call. We made our appointment but had to reschedule due to personal family issues. They did not respond or reply to any of our attempts to email or call and they never reached out to us on their own accord. They abandoned us as clients with no explanation whatsoever. I would never recommend them as mediators. They were completely disorganized and bickered with each other during our initial zoom call and subsequent phone calls as well which felt very awkward and uncomfortable. Perhaps they were just too overwhelmed to handle the workload...BUT it is completely unacceptable and unprofessional (I think illegal) to abandon your clients. We ended up switching to another local mediator/lawyer and she was able to hand us the first draft of our separation agreement within a week. She allowed corrections to be made via email and we signed our finally agreement the following week.

Also, unlike my first attorney, Natasha conducted herself in a professional manner. Although my case was highly contentious, she worked hard to keep me calm and focused. Ms. Condon is an affable woman and seems capable, but in the end she is best versed in fleecing the client with billable hours. From the onset I had an acrimonious divorce, wherein my ex-wife sought to deprive me of my child to punish me for seeking a divorce. My ex came from money and hired a high profile attorney that had decades of experience in divorce law. At my first day in court, it was apparent Condon was out of her league. Fortunately I was granted visitation of my child, mainly do to my ex overplaying her hand in court with frivolous accusations. However, when it came to representing me financially is when Condon collapsed. More than once Condon grew emotional and frazzled when things were going poorly. During a deposition, i had to raise my voice and inform both attorneys to "calm down" when yelling between the two erupted in the conference room. In retrospect I'm convinced it was just theater to justify their exorbitant fees to attend. When I inquired about using my rights to my ex's retirement savings (over $250,000 at the time) as leverage against her ridiculous demands on mine, Condon became dismissive with a "let her have it' mentality. More than once i felt an almost sisterhood connection between Condon and my ex when it came to child support and bilking my future retirement benefits (Condon herself was divorced and collecting from her ex). After 2 stressful years and tens of thousands of dollars given to Condon (mind you i am not a investment banker or wealthy by any means. Solely a W-2 employee)), i signed off on an "agreement" out of desperation that I never should have. Since then i have shown the settlement to several divorce attorneys. All of which pointed out numerous areas Condon could have fought over, but eagerly surrendered to. In the end, i believed she was actually afraid of the other attorney and sought a quick end for herself and a lasting financial albatross for me.

Now that I am ready for a divorce, an attorney with integrity is shocked by how poorly the agreement is written. In addition, I had to fight to get the balance of my retainer returned by threatening to report this practice to the Bar Association. I am shocked that a practice can operate in such a manner.

What I appreciated most was that he was straightforward and didn't waste time. He answered our questions, kept me informed during the negotiation process, and got the matter resolved as quickly as possible. Now, if you're looking for someone who's going to hold your hand through every step of the process, Ray may not be your guy. He's definitely a little rough around the edges, can be impatient at times, and doesn't sugarcoat things. But honestly, I never took it personally. My impression was that he's an old-school attorney who's been doing this for a long time and is focused on getting the job done. His preferred method of communication is email, but when I told him texting worked better for me, he accommodated that. At the end of the day, I hired him to handle a legal matter, and he did exactly what I hired him to do. If you want a lawyer who's direct, knowledgeable, and focused on results, I'd recommend him.
