We got married at Crandon Golf Key Biscayne in March 2022 with 150 people with a "Tropical Elegance and Garden Formal theme" . I loved Rob and his wife's energy and felt their upbeat and natural energy from our phone planning appointments to the moment they walked into the bridal suites to capture us both getting ready. Her use of natural light is amazing and something that everyone notices in her work. She does not edit her pictures much, which is something I was really looking for. I didn't want over saturated color (like many photographers do), but wanted natural, beautiful photos. She also takes time in finding the perfect spots to take pictures. The backgrounds of my photos were gorgeous. She will definitely find the best setting with the best lighting for you. The talent is definitely there! Katie works with her husband, Cito, and they were very nice, fun and easy to work with. They arrived on time and got coverage of the entire day. They were very organized with their time- - everything was planned according to a schedule that was prepared for us weeks before the wedding. They also guided us through the portraits/poses, which is nice and helpful. Cito ran our photobooth and took great shots of the guests.. very fun idea! Everyone loved the photobooth! Anyways, I highly recommend them. I am in love with all of my wedding photos. And I get comments all the time about my photos-- I am constantly asked who the photographer was and told that they look like they came out of a magazine.

It's so funny the difference a professional photographer makes. I have the same photos of wedding events from her and from family and the difference is crazy. She blows them out of the water with her eye for beautiful shots. Not only that, but she was great to work with, so friendly and very professional. One thing though I was a little disappointed with is that some pictures on the beach, including my ceremony were blown out so you can't see the sky. This is because Katie's style is to use natural light without a flash and no editing. I totally respect that and knew about it before hand, but it was a little disappointed by those photos. After some editing on photoshop I was I able to edit the sky back in, but for the price I paid $$$ I would have appreciated if that editing came with my photos. From the first moment to the last, working with La Vie was an outstanding experience. -First, the actual reasons we hired them---the photos! I loved the style of the team from the get go. Jose and Jess capture the most important moments, but they also take candid shots that speak volumes about the day---more than any portrait could. The photos are also beautiful, in an artistic and journalistic style that I loved. Technically La Vie also knows what they are doing---after looking at countless photographers, La Vie were the only ones who captured even low light photos with grace. We got some gorgeous pics back and I am so happy with the result. -Second, professionalism - The team are true professionals. From the first to last moment, La Vie were super professional. I had a lot of questions throughout the process of hiring the photographer and Jose and Jess spent quite a bit of time answering my questions, always professionally and patiently. I also asked for certain things to be negotiated in the contract and Jose and Jess took all my requests seriously and respectfully. At the wedding they were on time and even stayed a little later as we had some problems that caused the wedding to be delayed.
