If I could give no stars I would. Everything is money, staff is rude, and to actually think they are going to help you get out of debt easy is a joke Mr Christman made me feel awful talked down on me and honestly didn't care what he said or how he said it. I have been miserable in my chapter 13 case and once he was paid out of my plan he could care less what happened next he did his part he thought smh but I highly do not recommend this lawyer office at all. And they aren't cheap twice the amount any other lawyers charges my new lawyer think it's insane the amount of money he charged me but hey he's paid and full and won't do anything else to help with the problems that have came up. Rude staff here. They will hang the phone up on you or act clueless when you ask a simple question about your case. One time I called and the girl on the other line was saying "yeah" and "uh huh" the whole time, I couldn't believe how unprofessional she was. They get 2 stars because Mr. Christman himself was very nice and professional when I met him. Also, my case is progressing quickly than I initially thought it would. I really don't know why the first poster had a "beef" with this firm, because they've pretty much saved my butt as far as my financial circumstances are concerned. I suffered a divorce in 2016, where the court decided that I was responsible for all of the marital debt (yes, even the stuff that Sociopath ran up). I simply couldn't pay it. Enter Christman & Fascetta, who were recommended to me by a friend that had once had similar circumstances. They (and their office staff!) were very professional, explained everything to me so that I would understand the proceedings, and their prices were more than fair. They were compassionate as to my emotional feelings about my circumstances, too, and that was seriously a big help to me at a time where I really needed all of the help that I could get. I would highly recommend this firm. If you have to go through a bankruptcy (although I hope you don't), you can't do better. Now to wait out the 10 years....sigh. read more

I would of gave no stars after the Lawyer retained his fee he seemed to have a case of amnesia. Would tell me to call him back then would tell staff not to pass me through and contact my firm and lawyer which was him. Actually had me questioning myself. I would never ever recommend anyone to this man he was nice when you bring the first down payment after he wont accept your calls, tells you to talk to your lawyer multiple times which is himself this is absolutely ridiculous. I definitely am filing a complaint through the state of MD I got more success with my case with everybody other than him. I never known a firm you can get no information they asking me what I still owe im still waiting on a statement that no one can even give me info on who has all this information. Although Mr Christman himself was always very polite to me his Staff meaning the lady who answers the phone was always very rude and disrespectful, she would be very short with me and Mr Christman never returned my calls!! The office would procrastinate in returning calls or filing and in life things happen everyday!! My wages were garnished and never should of been Mr Christman knew I was being sued 6 months before the garnishment, and I was still garnished!! When I called the office I had to make an appointment to come in and was told he could get my money back but he would take a 3rd for his fee which to me was robbery cuz it should of never been garnished to begin with!! This was October of 2017 never got my money was told by Ms. Rudeness for a year and a half they will call you when it comes and it takes a long time!! Finally in December of 2018 I contacted the Bankruptcy Court told them what was going on had a hearing in March 2019 Mr Christman and his associate try to keep my money said it was to long more then 90 days when I filed !! Judge did not buy it and I was awarded my money a year later!! If you use Christman and Fascetta make sure you stay on top of everything and Keep a diary of everything you will need too!! read more

I turned in all my paperwork for my chapter 7 bankruptcy more than two and a half months ago which is the same day I paid this firm 100% of the legal fees in advance as required. I have called and emailed often with no response from the firm or my attorney which is none other than Mr Ed Christman himself. I am an unemployed veteran on a fixed income and I am struggling to even feed my family at this point. I guess once they have all your money there is no incentive to provide service or even to communicate with their clients?! read more

I cant speak to all the lawyers associated with this firm but DO NOT use Christopher McGrady. He is hard to track down. He hates if you ask to many questions. Once your court date is over he will get angry if you get papers from the bank or city/town and fear you have to pay them. He accused me of not following direction he never gave me and insisted I pay him more money for continued help. He claims he charges less to help you. Pay more and get a lawyer that will help you through the whole process. Get one who won't yell at you and will understand you are confused and scared. Please. Protect yourself. read more

Choose a different law firm. This law firm is horrible. The receptionist literally doesn't know anything. Doesn't have Mr. Christman's email address or his cell phone (which he's called me on before) doesn't know when everyone in the office comes back from vacation. Which is the same excuse she's been using for the past 3 weeks I've been calling and emailing. I wouldn't be asking for all this information if he'd return phone calls or Joy would return emails. They have my money now they don't return calls/emails. They charged me extra due to a specific account and that specific account isn't eligible for discharge but this wasn't disclosed to me until after they cashed my check. Save yourself the extra stress during an already stressful time, choose someone else! If I could give them zero stars I would. read more
