I rushed to Barcana in Las Colinas on a Friday afternoon thirty minutes before closing only to be told that I would have to return the next day because the person who was handling the auction was not in. The next morning I returned to the same place as before to pick up the tree and was told that I would have to come back Monday thru Friday because they knew nothing about it. I relayed to the young lady that I was told to ask for a certain name who I had previously spoken with by phone. She says, "oh, that's me" and disappears to the back to return later to say that my tree is at the dock for pick up. I go there and a guy helps me load it without problems. I get home and erect the tree only to discover that it is NOT the tree for which I paid. The tree described on DIFFAs auction website was a "Belvedere Deluxe Multi Incandescent with clear and multi-color lights controlled by an 8-button remote control." Instead I was provided the "Alaskan Deluxe" which has no white lights (only colored) and no remote control. I don't know what else to call it other than a classic case of bait-and-switch! I am highly disappointed in the service that I received at Barcana with four contacts, two trips to the warehouse, and I still did not get the tree for which I paid. No wonder none of their reviews are satisfactory!
