Let me tell you about my experience with the good doctor. First, his staff was incredibly friendly right when I walked in, which was a nice change from my previous doctor's office. When I first met him, I told him my family medical history, and being honest with him that I was searching for a doctor who would actually take a moment to listen to me and not make me feel like I'm in the way of the next appointment. I am applaud at the office staff. They are rude, they do not seem to understand how a medical office is to be operated, they appear confused, and they do not answer calls nor do they return calls. I had a very important matter concerning my mother, and it took me several calls (many unanswered) for the front desk to understand how to process an insurance claim for additional testing being requested from the doctor. Many days went by and it ends up that what could have been accomplished with one phone call, turned into several visits with specialist to determine that my mother was critical and needed extensive care. read more

I've only heard great things about Dr. Arnold. My mom sees him and he's so patient with her despite the language barrier. He also calls me and my sister once he receives test results and calmly walks them through with us. I once asked him a personal medical question over the phone and he was so helpful even without an appointment. I love doctors who are in the field to help and not to just make a profit. A friend of mine talks about how responsive Dr Arnold is. Sometimes Dr Arnold will respond at 5 am to emails. He's so dedicated and truly cares about his patients. Unfortunately Dr. Arnold gets a bad review because of his front office. First time I called, I selected the option to make a new patient appointment. It starts to play it's recording and then someone picks up and immediately puts me on hold. I was on hold for over 5 mins. Then when I finally helped, they ask my insurance and ask if it's an HMO or PPO. Front desk was not helpful, had a tone with me and said she can't help me if I'm HMO until my new insurance cards have Dr. Arnold's name on it. I called my insurance to get his name on my card--which they said I didn't need. Called Dr. Arnold's office again...Deja vu. Another rude receptionist. Very unwilling to help & get scheduled. Adamantly refused since she assumed I had HMO. I just thanked her and hung up. Lots of other doctors out there that's willing to help. read more

I've been a patient of Dr Arnold's for about 15 years and there is no other doctor or doctor's office staff like his - their communication with and accommodation for patients is truly exceptional. I have sent the doctor portal messages on multiple occasions and each time he responded within minutes by phone if it is about a current illness or symptoms I was having I'm or within 24 hours if about getting a referral or refill. If you like excellent, caring and responsive doctors and office I highly recommend Dr Arnold and his staff for your primary care physician. read more

Update: June 3, 2021 Since I have already written a review, I can only add to the previous one. This review is for Dr. Arnold's staff. Once again, I am surprised that others say they've had any issues with the staff at this practice. My husband has been scheduled for a CT at the request of Dr. Arnold's office. It started three weeks ago and the radiology facility continues to have problems with insurance authorization. They have it, they don't have it, they have it, they don't have it. Today the facility called to cancel and reschedule for third time. Even though they said they have the authorization from insurance, they said they aren't clear regarding what the doctor actually wants done (???) I called Dr. Arnold's office and spoke with Erica. Even though our predicament has nothing to do with an error on the office's part, she volunteered to resend the CT order (again) with a copy of Dr. Arnold's notes so the facility would know exactly what is being requested. We are still waiting to see if the facility can use the most recent paperwork to allow us to keep the appointment for tomorrow. If it has to be postponed again, Dr. Arnold's office has gone above and beyond to try to help remedy our situation. read more

I have been seeing Doctor Arnold ever since he opened his office somewhere close to ten years ago. He is a very positive and knowledgeable doctor. When he sees you, you are a human more than you are a patient (if that makes sense). I hope to have him for the duration of my life if that is at all possible. In regards to his office staff. A couple have been there since Doctor Arnold opened. They are courteous and professional. The communication is outstanding as they are always answering the phone and returning calls promptly. Dr. Arnold has been my G.P. for over 10 years. In that time, Dr. Arnold has been a wonderful doctor. He is kind and patient, and very knowledgeable. Dr Arnold is the most amazing Dr. First of all, he listens. I will tell him what is going in and he will hear me out carefully. He remembers my family, all of our names and how we are doing. He'll take the time to go over things, what is and isn't going on. What could and probably isn't wrong. His prices are very fair and when I didn't have insurance I found his pricing to be extremely fair. Reading the other reviews on here, it is understandable that people get frustrated with front staff and that seems to be very common, but they've always been great to me and in my opinion their role is difficult as they are in a position to protect privacy and handle one of people's most important aspects if life: health. I called this office because I was referred to them by my doctor who could not get me in to see him for 2 weeks. I was told that Dr. Arnold might be able to see me sooner. I called Dr. Arnolds office and explained my situation but was told that Dr. Arnold is NOT ON CALL for any of my doctors patients. What? They are rude, do not have the wherewithal to solve even minor problems, and are basically just putting in time. Most of his staff looks to be under 20 and English is not their first language. I have been a patient for almost 10 years. Dr. Arnold is amazing. He is knowledgable listens spends as much time as needed with me to address my issues. The problem is his office staff. Rude, uncaring, the hold button is their favorite phone button. I have complained before and nothing happened. I think they are worst now than ever. Yesterday, I was late to my appointment due to my error of the time. I walked in the waiting room and Alejandra was quick to remind me that I was late. I apologized and asked if Dr, Arnold can see me, she stated I will have to ask. THERE WAS NO ONE IN THE WAiTING ROOM. She comes back 10 mins later and says I have to reschedule my appt. It took me a week to get this one. All this appt needed was for Dr. Arnold to refer me to a specialist. After 10 years, I've had enough. Dr. Arnold, you know how many people I have referred to you, including my children, if you want to be successful you need a solid staff and sadly a couple of the ladies you have are not the ones to get you there. They need customer service skills, compassion, understanding. They need to leave their drama and bad attitude the minute they walk in the office door. read more

Dr. Arnold is the nicest doctor I have ever been to and he is highly competent. He smiles and takes time every time I visit. The negative reviews don't like his office staff but I can put up with rude staff if I have an amazing doctor and he is amazing. I have never had issues with the office staff other than trying to schedule my flu shot after 4. Other than that it is always an excellent experience. I've been seen by Dr. Arnold for many years. He is without a doubt the kindest, most professional medical practitioner I've ever had the pleasure to be treated by. He not only has a compassionate manner and is incredibly knowledgeable but has personally returned my phone calls to clarify or answer any questions I may have. No ego trips or condescension that I've experienced with many other dr.s. the office staff have ALWAYS been courteous and professional and have often "squeezed me in" when I've needed it. It's a busy office run by 2-3 people, so the whining about being put briefly on hold should be taken in stride. I never wait long to be seen, and I HATE to wait when I have an appointment, it's a pet peeve with me, I'll walk after 30 minutes. On no occasion have I waited more than just a few minutes.
