Personable, Informative, Sincere, Experienced. An automobile accident in November 2015 found me in need of an experienced attorney. It had been 20+ years since I'd had an accident and the rules had certainly changed! Insurance, doctor visits, loss of work - everything is handled differently, and I was naïve about the process. Fortunately, I got a referral from a friend for legal help which led me to Attorney Christopher Weems' legal practice in Athens, GA. When I phoned Mr. Weems' office that afternoon, I was greeted by his friendly staff who invited me to come over right away. I was really an emotional mess from the accident and, though it seems small, this act alone offered me optimism. In my accident, the other driver hydroplaned in a rainstorm right into my vehicle traveling from the opposite direction. Tragically, that driver was killed in the accident. My first impression of Mr. Weems' is that he is open and genuine. Very personable with me and my family and obviously sincere. In the months to follow I would call Mr. Weems' office with questions and receive prompt responses and feedback. They kept me up to date on status of my case and let me know right away if something was needed of me. Mr. Weems' and his staff were very approachable, and I felt I could speak with him about anything - nothing was too small or insignificant. A sincere man who is passionate about his clients and their needs. Fortunately, my case didn't get that far, but I was also comforted to know that Mr. Weems' is an experienced trial lawyer and was prepared to protect me. Overall, my experience with Attorney Christopher Weems and his staff was very positive. A more-than-qualified attorney who is realistic and down to earth. He is frank and genuine and will do what it takes to educate and advocate for his clients. He will be my first call should I need another attorney! He was amazing and so was his secretary! very nice understanding people and helped me every step of the way after my accident and barely charged me anything. I consulted with Christopher Weems, but saw he had been disciplined and lost his license temporarily on a review online, so I told him I did not want him representing me. He then called me ignorant and began cussing me out saying he didn't want to take my fucking case anyway. I am completely appalled.
