A teenage boy turned across three lanes of traffic directly in front of me while I was going 50 mph. I was driving a Honda Civic Coupe, and he was in a Super Duty Ford F150. I remember my life flashing before my eyes. I was taken to Piedmont Hospital by ambulance and later sent home with three broken ribs, stitches in my knee, abrasions on my arms, shoulders, and legs, and bruises across my chest and abdomen where the seatbelt saved my life. Very disappointed. Very poor communication. I retained Greg Daniels in what should have been a very…read moresimple divorce. No dependants, no major financial assets to divide. Most all communication was deferred to assistants who were clearly overloaded. I never even met Mr. Daniels until mediation. I had to introduce myself to the hosting law firm, the mediator, and the opposing attorney. Mr. Daniels was 5 minutes late, had no plan, except a failed strategy that I'd suggested myself. We spent 6.5 hours in mediation where Mr Daniels and the mediator discussed cuisine, and I discussed man toys with him. Mr. Daniels interjected very little and sent a handsome bill following. Mr. Daniels demonstrated plenty of teeth and bark with me, but was quite unhelpful for the greater and unnecessary struggle my now ex produced. Then out of the blue I'm told about my court date and I have a new lawyer who had no knowledge of my case and no consultation with her at all until we were in court! I'm done with this and trust it affects more than a vacation and the fact that that's your response is laughable! God knows I was never once told Mr. Fitz was gone prior to a few days before court as I never heard from your firm for almost a year except the invoices sent in the mail! If you were told otherwise then ask who told me and when was it relayed to me? I knew nothing or anything about a new lawyer representing me. Days after she got the discovery which she didn't have prior to my court date, my attorney told me I should plea and nothing concerning the events that led up to the alleged threat mattered because the video would be my word versus the officer's! She was ready to just get on with her life and pregnancy! Period! I even told her the day of before the plea that I was innocent and didn't threaten the guy but she said it looked like it on the video no matter what was actually said and the officer's perception would be heavily influencing to a jury! Goodbye and thanks for your time but you and I both know the lack of attention given to me as a client!
