Chris was a pleasure to work with and we received some great shots to keep memories of our vacation. He communicated very well and helped us pick a good location near our hotel to get some great sunset shots. He was really flexible and has a good eye for detail. I was nervous picking someone from Yelp, but our photo shoot gave us some great keepsakes. He was very reasonably priced compared to others we called. He emailed us our picture gallery super quickly. Thank you for your hospitality, Chris! read more

Christopher Wren Photography - Event Photography Near Me

After reviewing and talking with nearly 10 photographers, my then fiance and I decided to go with Christopher. We selected him because we were looking for someone with well rounded photos, personal, professional, and experienced. We picked the right guy. Not only were the pictures great, Christopher was a true professional at the wedding. He got all the specific shots we wanted, directed the family gently but assertively, kept us on schedule, and kept us at ease. We had a slightly different style than the average wedding party and Christopher caught the vision right away. I am including some photos for you to judge for yourself. A photographer has to catch all the right moments, use all the right angles, and be able to adjust quickly. If you are looking for a photographers make sure to compare them and look at all those aspects while viewing their example photos. One photographer may be good at the family shots, but not good at candid photos or close-ups. One photographer may be good at all the types of shots but there isn't any real style or beauty to the shots; they are just utilitarian. To be honest, I can't remember too much of Christopher at the wedding, and that's the way it should be; it's your special day. read more

Christopher did a photo shoot at the beach for my husband and I, with our two youngest children. He was wonderful and very patient, especially with our two-year-old son, who was a handful! He made the photo shoot fun and comfortable and the pictures turned out amazing! He captured some precious moments and a beautiful sunset. The pictures are truly a treasure! So thankful we took the time to make those special memories with Christopher's help. read more

Chris took our newborn photos for our birth announcement and he did such a wonderful job! My friend from church recommended Christopher for my wedding. He found me through facebook. Christopher and his wife did my engagement photos, he's also been booked by one of my friends from college. Our engagement session was great and I loved my photos. This couple is so kind and their photographic eye captured so many great shots. They are very affordable, considering they include a DVD of the pictures, their time, their experience, and their knowledge. My free engagement session was included in my wedding package and he was the only photographer my fiance and I could agree on. read more

My fiance and I got engaged on 1/6, and we only had a few days left of our trip on the Big Island. I researched a few photographers, and Chris answered quickly saying he would be able to do an engagement shoot with us right before our flight home - perfect! We've never had photos taken professionally before, so we were a little nervous. Chris was so easygoing and made the experience so much fun! He got amazing photos which we absolutely love. He agreed to work from 4:30-6, and he ended up going over the time to get us more incredible shots! At one point he got soaked by a huge wave, and he just kept going! lol The photos were ready in two weeks which is absolutely amazing turnaround time! I highly recommend working with Chris if you're on the Big Island. He did such an amazing job, I can't thank him enough. read more

We were looking for someone to do a family shoot on our one-week Big Island, Hawaii trip in April of 2019. I called around several local photographers and got quotes from them and also asked them about their styles, choice of locations, past experience, etc. I went with Chris because he came across intelligent and reasonable and was willing to work with our tight schedule as we had a flight to catch right after the photo shoot. The total cost was of the shoot was also one of the most competitive. During the shoot Chris spent extra time with us rather than stopping after his agreed-upon time was over. He was easy to work with and chatted and became comfortable with the family pretty quickly. In less than a week we got our online gallery link from him and we were all very pleased with the results. Chris pays attention to details and is also willing to accommodate special requests during the shoot and after. I would definitely recommend Chris to anyone shopping around for a good photographer. His work and skills as seen in his online galleries speak for themselves. read more

Chris did a family photo shoot for us a couple of years ago and we were extremely pleased with the photos. We had 2 kids at the time under 5 and he did great with both candid photos as well as posed family photos which can be a challenge with kids sometimes. Pictures came out great and we would highly recommend him for family photo shoots. read more

My wife and I decided to go with Christopher for our engagement and wedding photos and we could not be happier! We absolutely LOVED working with him from start to finish. He was incredibly friendly, understanding, punctual and obliging in every aspect, and the pictures are FANTASTIC! There were countless pictures that came back better than we could have ever imagined. He was up front about everything and was true to his word. It was such a blessing not having to worry about our photographer during our wedding and a wonderful surprise to see that the pictures came back better than we (even my wife) could have imagined, which is saying a lot haha! There was even time many months after we got our pictures when my wife referred to a black and white and said, "I really wish we had this picture in color." I contacted Chris and asked if there was anyway we could get that picture in color and he got it to us just a few days later! I can not recommend Chris enough as a photographer. Beyond fantastic is the only appropriate rating for him. Thank you Chris! read more
