Huge hospital in Montpellier. I spent almost 4 months hospitalized and I am grateful for how fast many of the tests and results were delivered. The nurses and doctors were very efficient and knowledgeable. My problem with the place is the building itself. It is old and could use a remodeling. Chairs and hallways, in some floors are not very welcoming, and the whole -1 and -2 are just horrible. The rooms are poorly designed and if you're in a wheelchair, you better know how to aim. The French system is highly superior, in my point of view, if I compare it to the American system, but the buildings are old and need fixing. The elevators are old and you can wait for a very long time during rush hour. The parking is not free, and can be quite far from where you 're supposed to go, and is expensive. My parents came to visit me everyday for 4 months and believe me, it wasn't cheap. read more
