    "Feed the Dog" game.

Grandson wanted to go here (among other places) for his ninth birthday. I hadn't been inside a Chuck E. Cheese since his mom turned four, so wasn't sure what to expect. This is a very good location, easy to find, and with plenty of parking. Clean, friendly, tables were bussed promptly after groups left, and it IS possible to go in for a few hours without dropping your entire paycheck at the door. We didn't get food because he wanted something else for dinner, but everyone bought drinks, which are freely self-refillable. We found a booth in a corner where I parked with our stuff, then the kids (newly-9 and 4) went off with their mom to buy "tokens", now in the form of a reloadable card that can be worn on the wrist if you have or buy the little silicone coil wristlet, at $1, cheap security for a little kid who's holding quite a wad of "money".) Grandson found a playmate right away, another boy of about the same age with the same shirt. They were inseparable until we all left, spending the majority of their time in the overhead "hamster trail", burning off some of the endless energy possessed by nine-year-old boys. We were fortunate to be able to go at an "off" time, a little after 3pm on Friday, as he had no school on his birthday, due to a teachers' in-service day, so the crowding and noise were minimal. The place was much less than half-full, judging by the number of booths that were occupied. The long party tables had only one group arriving. It's easy to see how it could be complete, gridlocked chaos in the middle of a Saturday afternoon, with birthday parties in full swing. As it was, there were virtually no lines for any of the games or kiddie rides, and things were pretty civilized. They have a pretty good system for making sure nobody walks out with a kid who isn't theirs: everyone in the arriving party gets the same invisible stamp on the wrist, which is checked when leaving. I'd still really like to see them raise or block off the short wall between the play area and the front door. Overall, a good time was had by all, and I'd have no problem returning.

    Having fun with the kids!

With scenic walking trails, an outdoor classroom, day camps and a small indoor animal habitat, Briar Bush is a great spot for small children, couples on a date, or anyone looking for a brief respite from the urgency of the modern world. With free admission for locals and a small fee for out-of-towners, the preserve is accessible to all patrons provided that they are able to walk down some wooded trails that circle through the admittedly short walking routes. The centerpiece of the trails is a picturesque, secluded pond with benches for sitting and an interactive sign with information on the local fauna and flora. The indoor animal habitat has a small gift shop, pamphlets on upcoming events and information on other parks in the area, and several interesting animals such as a blind possum named Odin, a bearded lizard named Karl, and several other unique turtles and reptiles. All of Briar Bush can be walked through in an hour or so, but the low admission, interactive nature events and scenic walking trails will have you wanting to return again soon.

They offer finger foods like pizza, wings, and mozzarella sticks. You can have a party in their party rooms. The party rooms are time limited (about two hours or less), and while the staff isn't rude, they do come in frequently to remind you how much time is left. It makes the transition feel a little rushed. Once your time is up, you're kindly moved out. There is seating outside the party rooms, but there aren't enough tables to comfortably accommodate everyone. They do have lockers for your belongings, a small arcade area, and separate trampoline sections based on age, which is a big plus for safety. The food was average at best. The pizza wasn't great, and the mozzarella sticks were just okay like pre- frozen. Another downside is the parking lot. The plaza also has a Chuck E. Cheese, a nail spa, and an Olive Garden, so parking can be pretty chaotic especially on weekends when birthday parties are happening everywhere. Overall, it's fine if you just want to bring kids to jump and burn energy. Personally, I wouldn't choose it as a party venue because the time feels limited and rushed. Would I attend another party there? Probably. But once the two hours are up, I'm heading out.

I said to my wife oh! Its our sons birthday this month, lets get his birthday bear! Later on in the day we stopped here. So this is not the typical full store experience, but a slimmed down 1 aisle kiosk. So if you were looking for 300 outfits and the latest Yoda or whatever, this is not a place for you. If you do not mind a choice of 15 bears instead of 80, and 30 outfits instead of 300, than this place is for you! Staff was very very friendly, and they do their best to make the experience just like a regular store. They still advertise parties, but I do not know how they would do it here. The prices are exactly like a regular store, there is no discount coming here compared to a full store. So we got the birthday bear with an outfit and the $3 bear turned into $45... I could go to the Osh Kosh etc for cheaper clothes lol! They still did a great job with the hugging of the heart and the kid stepping on the button to fill the bear with stuffing etc. Next year he will have more fun picking out an outfit! All in all a great experience. If you need a basic bear with basic clothes, this is your spot!
