His face alternates between quizzicality with a hint of condemnation, and alarm tinged with more than a little consternation. I just smile my answers back at him, explaining my position in a light-hearted way that's suggestive of a belief that I have no need to justify my decisions to anyone. Our first mistake was thinking that doing laundry was a good idea, our second mistake was thinking that it was a washer/dryer combo. We woke up to a ball of WET clothes. After doing some research online we realized that it was in fact just a washer and that there was no drier, so I hopped on Yelp and found this place. We hopped in an uber with a bag of wet clothes and threw our load in a dryer. (Bring your own coins as someone warned.) Just next door is a cute little cafe where we grabbed a coffee and waited.
