I walked pulled up to the church to see what time it started. I am a women with a MOHAWK and tatoos! Most churches don't like me instantly. NOT COTR! I couldn't wait to get home and tell my husband and kids how LOVED I felt! My husband came back with me that Sunday night in 2018. "I have never felt so Loved in my whole life." The real test was our kids. Took them to the Kid's Ministry and EVERYDAY they wake up they ask "Is it a church day?" They LOVE the teachers and the people have become family. 2 years later they still want EVERYDSY to be church day. We were loved NOT judged. And our boy has some special needs. HE has never been treated differently and he loves EVERYONE. My whole family is on fire for GOD and I use to be an angry Athiest. My family and friends visit from UTAH and they ALL say the same thing. "The ONLY problem is there is no COTR back home." It is a non denominational church that teaches the BIBLE and that GOD LOVES YOU. And the people there really do love the unlovable and the broken just the way they are when they walk in. I have not been to this church but I had a dear friend who lived in Berea and went there every Sunday. I read the one review and the woman was upset the minister used the word Whore. She must now know her Bible well. Mary Magdalene was a whore and it is mentioned several times in the Bible. It is used at least 32 times. This lady is condemning a minister for preaching what is IN the Bible. Please don't base your choice of go to this church on a person who does not know their Bible. She would probably be upset the word prostitution is used in the Bible as well. It is used at least 25 times. Don' t base your opinion of this church and minister on this review. I went in their church for the first time looking for a church I could go to every Sunday and it will be the last time I will go to that church. I went in there expecting the pastor to read out of the bible and say a few things but instead he reads part of a verse in the bible and starts using foul language in front of kids, women,and everyone else talking about a verse in the bible and using the word whore like 8 times before I left because I was getting upset then he brags about how he loves preaching all I could think about is how upset I was with him don't go to this church it is not a family friendly church read more
