A family friend brought my two daughters there last week…read more The experience was fine for them, however, this place does not advertise that the owner is extremely religious, plays Christian worship music, and writes scripture on the bags when the items are picked up. If that aspect of the business isn't specifically advertised, it can be a bit off putting for someone who doesn't know what they're walking into. Our biggest issue stems from that fact that this place took pictures of my children and put them on their social media. My wife reached out via chat on Instagram and was ignored. My wife called the business and talked directly to the owner and was met with indifference. She said that the Instagram account was ran.by someone else and she would reach out before pushing my wife off the phone. It was eventually removed and replaced, sarcastically, with a picture of my children with yellow smiley faces blocking them. The Instagram account also blocked my wife who only asked for the pictures to be removed. It wasn't until after this that we saw that she also posted pictures of our children to FACEBOOK and those weren't removed. We tried calling again, during business hours, and the phone was off. So I went there and spoke to her myself. I explained to her that putting images of children is against Rhode Island law. After making me wait, she got on her own phone and all of a sudden had access. She deleted the pictures and I went on my way. I don't recommend this place unless you're a religious zealot looking to spend the afternoon with an insufferable Karen who thinks breaking the law is ok because she's "always done it."

The owner was extremely rude! Her energy…read more was negative; she was cold and off putting. I asked her a question and she raised her voice like she was speaking to a child. Very disrespectful. The atmosphere was not relaxing at all. She needs to learn to treat people with professionalism and respect. We ended up walking out. We will never go back to "WEIRD GIRL"

They turned out gorgeous, and very affordable compared to any other mokume gane we had seen. The ability to choose the metals, mokume pattern, final ring texture, oxidization, ring width, gemstone type and location was a huge boon. The ring wears well with time and is easy to clean -- small scratches from daily wear don't diminish the look. Thanks for the beautiful work Arn!

Arn Kreb's Mokume Gane rings are awesome!!! I was looking all over the internet for a unique men's…read morewedding ring. Found lots of stamped out mokume gane rings for huge money, and then stumbled upon Arn's work. Called and spoke with Arn who opened the shop just to meet my fiancé and me. He was super patient explaining the process of how he makes the rings and showing us his shop and all the variations of what he can make. Each ring is hand made by Arn using many different layers and types of metals. I know it sounds a little weird, but I love the ring we bought from Arn! Each time I glance down (6+ months of wearing it) I smile because it's a work of art - haven't taken it off yet. It wears well with a nice patina that doesn't diminish the "wood grain" metal work. He also skillfully sized it to my finger, having me try it several times in the process until we got it just right. Thank you Arn!

Not only is it very visually pleasing to see everything color-coded, but it's so easy to find what you need through this system. The shop owner is so kind and helpful. My wife loves a good bead. Can't get enough of them. Likes to make her own earrings. She is new to…read morethe hobby so we are always on the hunt for a new bead store. On our way up to Boston we stopped by Bead Chroma (not Chroma Bead? Fair enough.) Well it's a real treat. Huge selection of beads. Really incredible. Beads as far as the eye can see. Arranged by color. So many colors. All of them really Hence the name Bead Chroma. Because chroma means color. I mean sort of. Not to get tied up in the name but it reminds me of those restaurants where you know the owners speak English as a second language and they've googled the word for delicious and ended up with a restaurant called Gratifying Noodle Shack. But very nice store. Well organized. Easy to navigate. Easy to figure out pricing. Lots of findings. No problem finding them (this is actually a coincidence, but a happy one). The woman at the counter very helpful and knowledgeable. There is a little table in the back where people can work on projects and she is available to help. Some high school girls came in at 4:45 and wanted to make bracelets (store closes at 5. Kids am I right? ) she was not able to accommodate them in the store but helped them find everything they needed. This led to a long discussion of the Dana Carvey movie, "Master of Disguise". Quite an old movie for a high school student to be watching. She was a fan. They also have samples that you can purchase or use for inspiration. And a little gallery up front. They had a bowl where you can scoop out a whole scoop of random beads. I was really into this idea. My wife would not have it. She never lets me make earrings. Except one time. Other than that not a fan of my aesthetic. Anyways. Check out Brad Chroma. As a store it is hard to bead. That's a joke. It's fairly straightforward.
