Mike came out on a moments notice, straightened / trued up my wheels in a couple of hours, and Pualani now pleasantly sways again. Mike has been doing this for some 17 years and knows his stuff. I coordinated with the shop currently servicing my car to have it on a lift specifically so Ultimate Alloy Repair could complete the work efficiently. On the day the rims were scheduled to be picked up, I received a text message stating that their technicians could not work on that type of rim. There was no prior indication this might be an issue, and no phone call--just a last-minute text canceling the job. This not only disrupted my plans but also impacted the shop that had allocated lift time based on the agreed schedule. I understand that technical limitations can arise, but discovering this on the day of pickup--after pricing and scheduling had already been confirmed--was frustrating and avoidable with proper upfront assessment and direct communication.
