Our tour guide spoke English and French with ease and translated between them for our tour to accommodate all parties. The estate was beautiful - they were even filming a TV show while we were there! After taking a tour of chateau, we enjoyed a brief tasting which we tried 3 different wines. The wine was very delicious, but was not the best place we tried that day. Minus one star because the pours were very small - something that appeared to be a theme at all the places we visited in Medoc. Overall, I would recommend if you are in the area. It is a beautiful, low-key winery.

The Right Bank St Emilion and Pomerol were completely shut down. It was cold and rainy so we understand. Came to the Left Bank of the Médoc and came to Siran Margaux. Super friendly workers here that did a tasting for us and a bunch of other people that were here to. Loved their Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot Blend I ended up buying a bottle to take home. Would have bought more if I had room in my suitcase. Recommend this winery especially in the off season!

A very calm and relaxed environment with a nice breeze. Jennifer told us the history of the chateau and walked us to the vineyards around the property. We then took a tour of the various rooms and got a very thorough explanation of everything relates to the making of wine. After everything we had a nice tasting of two wines. Being an amateur wine drinker I appreciated the presentation and information. The gift shop had a number of vintages available making it very easy to make a few purchases- including the 2010 vintage. Oh, and they deliver! Plan on passing by here.

This place was FANTASTIC!…read more First, they were very kind to the English-speaking only members of our group, so big plus if you are looking for a place to go and you don't speak French. Second, the grounds were absolutely lovely, and the history of the castle and wine shop was so interesting! Third, the tour was great. It was thorough, but not too long (like many other places in Bordeaux that tend to have their tours a little long). Fourth, the tasting was good! Not stingy and you got to try a variety of wines. Fifth, and finally, I thoroughly enjoyed each wine. The quality was great, and the price point is incredible for the level of quality of the wines. Bottom Line: GO HERE!
