There is a trail down to the beach for those who still have enough energy left to explore. The building and rooms have a lot of old time class with high ceilings, nice furniture and decorations. The rooms are also classically small - but there are lots of public areas to hang out for those that need space. The operators are great. We booked the evening meal and became engaged in planning the menu - all fish!! They cooked up and served an high class meal with oysters, clams, smoked salmon and frico (an Acadian fish soup). Had a living room and then a separate area for the king bed. It cost about $90 for the night. Plus the pet cost. We were glad to have a bed and it was nice enough. The biggest downfall was that the bath was clogged so when you were taking a shower, the water wouldn't go down fast enough; creating a big pool of water. It was not nice. They did provide a small brekky with yogurt, cereal, muffins, bagels and coffee. Overall not a bad stay. They are doing renovations so most likely we were put in an old room. 3 floors - next time we know. Lol
