Walked in with new friends I had just met across the street at the Village Tavern... Had a glass of wine and before I knew it we were all salsa dancing. Some guy... Must've work for the club... was rounding up the troops trying to get everybody dancing - it worked!! The music was pumping - reggaeton - salsa -etc. We we're smoking delicious cigars - I couldn't even tell you what kind - but we were literally huffing and puffing on the dance floor - what a blast!!! Nevermind I was with people I had just met; one of which had zero rhythm and I and other strangers were trying to teach him how to salsa dance; we just laughed our heads off! Much, much better! Apparently management has changed it's ways! Everyone is much nicer. It's pretty amazing how this place has turned into pretty-much a club over the years. I hear they're going to start serving food soon too! Looking good Cigar Bar, looking good! I don't hold grudges, so maybe my problem regarding the first review was something that will never happen again. I've been back several times since, enough to be the official "Duke" right now as I type, and I feel like this place getting better and better will be the case. I walked in here from The Pub Restaurant next door out of curiosity. I thought for sure it was going to be a lame smoky place. It smelled so good in here that I agree with Tomasz I was teased to want to begin. Adrianna the bar tender was attentive, friendly, and customer service focused. I drank two glasses of wine and I think my check was $11.00. The wine was great and there is a dance floor and the music was amazing. I was in about 9-11 pm on a Wednesday night but will come back when dressed. I also enjoyed it was an older 35+ crowd which I am. I am very excited at the find and can not wait to go back! read more

I had a horrible experience last night at your location . I asked my Brother Gary to meet with me at the Gardens since he like the Cigar Bar in Fort Lauderdale and in Weston . I was so excited and told him that we have one at the Gardens. Well Vic your employee that doesn't appreciate that he has a job. He had a nasty " I don't want to be here attitude, complained that he cant wait to leave and that he worked Thanksgiving and it was just not good vibes at all. Question? What type of music is supposed to be playing? Well the Hip Hop Rap was so loud and vulgar It made me want to finish my drink and run out mind u there was 3 other people there yet plenty of action going on every where else. I requested for a change and he ignored me. Nice job guys picture people to take care of your clients needs. Nice chill spot and you don't have to smoke to come here. We were passing by after leaving Village Tavern and stumbled on this place. It was a Thursday I believe around 11pm. There was great music, we bout some drinks at the bar and enjoyed a few games of pool. read more

The beers are pretty expensive and the bar is usually really loud. Its a great place to go to after you finish at one of the restaurants or bars in the area because Cigar Bar is the only one that stays open very late. If you don't like people smoking inside bars I would not recommend this place for you. read more

Found this place since we heard the music next door at The Pub. Wherever I hear music, I will follow... And my husband is cigar obsessed, that too. What a great ambiance to dance, drink and smoke (I smoke cigarettes). What a relief to be able to smoke inside for once . Loved their selection of music, found the cigar and drink prices reasonable and as mentioned has a great ambiance! There's no cover too! Bartenders are quick with drinks and super nice. Only thing left to try is their hookah which we will coming back soon. read more

First of all, anyone complaining about smoke...it's a cigar bar. Secondly, this is the only place I've found where a woman can go by herself and have a great time in a safe environment. I became a regular because between the staff, the security, and the detail cops I know that I'm in good hands. Great prices, a great mixture of music, and just chill atmosphere. This place is terrible. Walked in to am empty bar at 8:00 on a Friday. The temperature inside must have been about 60 degrees...no exaggeration. A young man asked to help us, unfortunately he didn't know much about cigars and less about customer service. The prices looked very expensive for the cigars, although the lights were so dim it was very difficult to see anything behind the glass doors. Hahaaa I used to come here with my mistress and decided to stop in and have a cigar on my last visit down. It was day time but I still managed to get pretty inebriated. I had a Montecristo cigar and it was goooood. I bought one for the road. I think it goes without saying, if you have a favorite cigar, bring it with you. This place is in The Shoppes at Pembroke, one of my favorite shopping places. Parking can be a pain, so be prepared to walk a little bit and remember where you parked. Drink prices are normal. I was drinking Jack and Ginger. I am not sure, but it used to turn into a dance party at night. Always a good time, I do recommend. read more

Went here with my best friend. Last evening picked two cigars and ordered a round of drinks. There was only one other customer in the bar and we wanted to talk, the music playing and we asked if it could be changed or lowered and the bar tender said it was his iPhone and no he couldn't change it. So we paid the tab and left. Please note that every other bar was packed and we couldn't get another drink because we didn't want to wait in line elsewhere, but we refused to return to the cigar bar. Now I know why the place was EMPTY..... Lousy service, smug attitudes, and over priced cigars.... The price didn't bother me, but when I'm paying more than I usually pay in Weston at Smoke on The Water or in Ft Lauderdale at The Florida Cigar Company, I expect a certain amount of customer service. I have been by the area several times and this past Friday, we decided to finally go and make a night of it. The ambiance was cool and the staff was very nice but the DJ, my god what a buzz kill. I was ready to dance the night away but this poor soul most definitely had no clue what he was doing. His playlist was outdated, i mean I love my some old school and retro, but he wasn't even playing top 40. He played too much salsa leaving many people out that don't know how to dance. Personally I was hoping to go to a small bar that would play amazing music and was very disappointed. Its perfect for us because its the only bar close by but they have to change the DJ. read more

One of my fave hang out spots. Not because I like cigars (I actually don't) but the music and the pool tables make for a fun night anytime you go. This place is not very big but you make the best of it. They also have hookah pipes for rent so take your pick - you can either smoke cigars and/or hookahs while playing pool and then throw it down on the dance floor for a song or two. Great place and smart location, right in between two restaurants that have wonderful happy hour. It stays open late so this is the place to be after drinks. Awesome prices for the hookahs and pool tables in the back. Gets really hard to breathe though because of all the smoke, so if you're not accustom to cigar or cigarette smoke then this isn't the place for you. My worst experience. I am a professional within the hospitality industry, i went there with a friend who also happen to be in the industry, and who knew the owner because they have a common friend. After a long night of drinking and chatting about or beloved industry, we decided to leave the establishment and head home. After having our card swiped to close our tab, my friend realized that we had been overcharged. My friend started to tell the owner that she would never bring another person to his establishment because she did not appreciate the way she had been treated that evening. He replied that he did not need her business, told her to leave the place, and asked us to never come back again. The entire night i kept making excuse about the owner's attitude, specially toward not just a customer, but a person who you have been introduced to by a friend. I think that anybody in this industry would show just a little more attention to an owner of another bar coming to have a drink at your bar. Instead he had his bouncer forced our way out of the club, and when we were out the bouncer managed to push my lady friend and myself on the ground. We are both two grown ups who drink on a regular basis. None of us had never had a fight in a bar, or been asked to leave a bar because we were causing trouble. This is an example of people that stumble in this business not understanding it's nature. That is not what hospitality is about. My advice to any person going to have a drink there would be avoid to any type of dispute, specially not with the owner. The employees are very nice, it is just unfortunate that the leader has no clue about this business. I really hope that no other customer of his bar gets this treatment, but i doubt that this incident remains the only one in that place. You all have been warned. Good luck. read more

I went to this place after dinner. The drinks were awesome and the bartenders were polite. The DJ slowly killed my buzz of having a good time. They played salsa majority of the time... DJ should know and learn how to mix up the music if the crowd is a mixture of people. I did notice they need to have more of a selection for the ladies who likes to smoke a cigar or who are non-smokers and just want to try something small thats easy on the pallet to smoke. Very disappointed with the level of customer service. I visited this business on a Tuesday. Prior to going I looked up there hours of operation which indicated they would be open from 12:00pm to 4:00am. When I arrived at 12:00pm they were not open. I figured they were running a little late which was no big deal. AT 12:15pm I tried again and the door was still locked. I looked into the tinted window of the business and could see an employee hanging out behind the bar. I knocked on the door and the employee just ignored me. I came back again at 12:30pm and tried again this time the employee came to the door and stated they were closed. I explained I traveled to come toto this business and that I need to get back on the road. I also explained I was under the impression they opened at 12:00pm considering thats what is days on the door, website, Google, and Yelp. I stated I know exactly what I was buying and asked if I could make a fast purchase. The employee responded very rudly "No, we are closed." Then shut the door in my face. Needless to say I was very frustrated for I drove all this way to this specific cigar shop and received this response. So, I'm not sure what time they open and as for the employee he probably shouldn't be in a position of customer service. I wish I could give this business negative stars. read more
