I called the store about 15 minutes after I left and asked about my item and that i would be picking it up. He lied about taking my item I left behind, making up about how a homeless man ran in and spit on him and took it. I asked him this was true. To which HE TOLD ME THAT HE LIED after I confronted him on the phone about it. I WAS THEN YELLED AT ABOUT HOW I SHOULDNT HAVE LEFT IT, AFTER I TOLD HIM I CANT BELIEVE HE LIED. He then made an excuse, and I believe he took it himself. No curses were exchanged. I DID NOT YELL OR WAS ANGRY, I WAS UPSET ABOUT YOUR EMPLOYEE LIED TO ME AND THEN VERBALLY WAS NASTY ON THE PHONE. I came in to buy charcoals for my hookah and asked for Golden Desert, which I normally use. The owner said they were out of stock and offered me the only coconut coals he had, which were from Indonesia. These were by far the worst charcoals I've ever used. They gave off a terrible smell while heating and didn't provide nearly enough heat for my bowl (clear signs of poor quality or moisture absorption). When I returned to the shop to ask for a refund, the owner refused and simply said they don't accept returns. He didn't even apologize which shows not only a lack of professionalism but also a complete disregard for customer experience. It's not even about the money, it's about how dismissive and careless the owner was selling defective products. I'll never come back to this smoke shop. DON'T SHOP HERE
