I have been indulging in medspa services for 20 years now, I have done it all. Botox, Juvéderm, Ultherapy, Dysport, Restylane... you name it. And I have visited different practitioners both here in Miami and in other states and I know a good one when I see one. My experience at Laria today was exceptional. First of all I didn't have an appointment and they figured out a way to accommodate me, as they were busy (on a Tuesday afternoon? Good sign.) Then my medical provider and owner, Jose Laria patiently discussed with me what I was interested in doing and what my expectations were. I have some very complicated requirements for lip augmentation because my lips are completely uneven and have been getting thinner and thinner with age. I had also developed vertical lines on my upper lip that looked like smokers lines but I've never smoked. He instantly understood what I was describing and the results prove it. He overcompensated on the top lip to turn it out and up - the before and after pictures tell the whole story. I know everyone is different but I had no bleeding and very little bruising. I'm sure once the little bit of swelling settles I will have the lips I have been wanting and I didn't have to go and spend $1000 at a plastic surgeon's office. I would recommend these people to even my pickiest friends. Other pluses: beautiful, clean reception area and treatment rooms; if you're lucky you'll be greeted but his wife also a practitioner and owner. All of the products are stored and stocked away properly and they're located on 57th Ave. and Bird Road, in the center of everything. Don't let one intentionally damaging interview make this decision for you before you are able to view this company's Google reviews and take a look at their Instagram page. I'm sharing my before and after pictures, keeping in mind I just had them done today and they will settle a bit but I am over the moon about them and I will be going to Laria for all sorts of procedures. Don't pay attention to the other review here, there are just people who are predisposed to be unhappy and not want to understand policies and procedures or The science behind the process.
