I had a full pedicure with gel polish. The massage chair was very relaxing. The man who did my pedicure was very kind and gentle. They only thing that upset me. Was that they took a few people ahead of me who didn't have an oppointments. I had to wait 40 minutes past my time. I did not get a discount because of this. They apologized but that didn't matter to me. It made me late for another appointment. So I didn't give a tip for the service. Came here on a Friday at 5 PM as a walk-in, not expecting to get in. But Cindy said they had a few no-shows so they were able to fit me in. Vana saw that I had a nail that needed extra attention and asked if she could make it look better with the manicure, I said sure do your thing! I've gone several times and have always been greeted promptly, and serviced quickly. the prices are on par with others in the area. staff is nice. my nails always look pristine. I've been going about 3weeks between fills and they hold up great. I've also had both the regular and deluxe pedicure. Those are great. The deluxe is worth the upcharge. the atmosphere is much more relaxed and soothing than the other nail shops in the area. read more

I've been here 4 times recently and every time the entire place is being kept safe & healthy! The staff has plexiglass set up and masks of course. I came here because the normal place I go to couldn't get me in for an appointment before I left for vacation. Not sure that I'll ever come back. I walked in for my appointment and the girl greeted me nervously and look like she didn't know what she was going to do with me. I don't think that she actually works there I think she was just helping out for the day. She couldn't have been older than 16. I got the full manicure with gel polish and there was no massage and quite a few errors that I had to correct her on. The redeeming quality was the pedicure. The girl who did my toes (different from the girl who did my fingernails) was a pro. She did a really nice job and give a good massage. But in the middle of my pedicure another girl who I'm assuming doesn't work there came and sat almost on top of my feet and watched her paint my toes. No one mentioned anything about it or told me who she was. It was very weird. It was also very expensive. I'm VERY picky when it comes to my beauty maintenance and what an excellent job done by this salon on my manicure and pedicure. The salon is very clean and they have plenty of nail salon sanitizers for all the tools and equipment. They also have a few technicians that are exceedingly artistic in doing the latest Nail Art designs and jewels. The salon was very busy on a Saturday. After going somewhere else for a fill, less than 5 days ago, the gel polish was peeling off.( I'm not stranger to gel and have NEVER had this problem.) I returned to my normal nail salon (Cindy's) today to have them remove my old set and give me a whole new set. This is the end result, with gel polish only cost $55.( For removal of old set, new set, gel polish- 2 are ombre, with chrome buffing powder) I am absolutely in love with them and will not go anywhere else for my nails again. read more

I have been going to Cindy's for over a decade. They used to be down near Kenmore and in the last few years are now next to Paula's Donuts. I have always felt during my services they talk poorly about the customers, and then would mention it to you in English during your service. Always stating their opinions and having a insensitive tone. I have always turned a blind eye because I wanted to support local and stay in my lane of what's not my business. Unfortunately this past week will be my last time going in. I arrived an hour before closing and asked for a Gel fill. They mentioned they had a long day and were busy; even when they had only two customers and 4 people on staff. They said the wait would be 30+ minutes, I said no problem and no rush. I then noticed they were talking about me while I was waiting and asked more than once if I can come back Monday (which ended up being closed) I said no, I can wait. They then proceeded to tell me they were closing at 6, even when both on line and their sign on the window said 7. I asked "for future where can I find the correct time?", they proceeded to lie. LIE. Telling me they would 'change the sign tomorrow' (even though they would be closed). I couldn't tell if they were in a bad mood from a long day, or just didn't want to take the last customer of the day and wanted to cut out early. Their tone was rude, their lies were transparent, and they continue to feel disrespectful to customers. No thank you for future service. For future, highly recommend turning on Translation on your phone. read more

Owner upset about my negative review on Facebook decided instead of using her busy schedule that they couldn't have her come in to fix her broken/ infected nail because they were so busy. Using a week old picture that she has since took down to replace it with one of a live video of how her nail is now. If you need a manicure or pedicure this is the place to go! I get a full set with gel polish and they last for 3 weeks! They do a great job and I'm done in less than an hour. They have a ton of brand new pedicure chairs and they even have a mini one for kids. They recently moved to a bigger location that is updated and always clean. One complaint I have is they don't always have enough people working. They sometimes will start my nails and then to work on someone else then come back to finish mine. This doesn't happen often, although it has happened a few times. I try and come on weekday afternoons and they are much less busy. My daughter treated us to a mani/pedi and was overcharged by $30 for a service I did not receive. I called immediately after leaving ( I was waiting in the car so was not there when she paid) and was told to come back the next day because they were busy and they would take care of it. Went back today and was told I was not overcharged and there was nothing they would do to make the situation right. Sub par treatments at best and overpriced besides being overcharged. There were more nail technicians working than I've ever seen at one time. I was able to get in right away and Tony was my technician. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he asked to see it many times, trying to get them exactly right. While I felt like I was being picky or over demanding, he reassured me "no you're the boss". I felt so thankful to have someone who took the time to do it the way that I wanted it done. read more

I was able to walk in and get into a pedicure chair very quickly on a busy Saturday afternoon. The spa is clean and the service was pleasant. At only $27, the pedicures are a bargain too. However, sometimes you get what you pay for. The selection of colors was really limited. Also, even though the pedicure itself looked nice, it did not last long at all. I've actually never had a pedicure chip so quickly. I had to redo it myself about a week and a half later. My heels were still really rough after the service too. Overall, if you're looking for quick and easy nail services in this neighborhood, Cindy's will work... but I probably won't be returning anytime soon because I don't like paying for polish that doesn't last. read more

I'm quite shocked at the reviews here! I love Cindys. It's always busy, and all the techs take really good care of my feet and hands. I never felt that they "skimped" out on any service. I always got what I wanted and how, which I very much appreciate. There are a TON of gel colors, but not many nail polishes (which I enjoy getting most) other than that, Cindys is clean, all techs do a good job, and pay attention to how I want my nails shaped or designed. I always get mine done here! My one suggestion is if you have a favorite nail polish color, bring it from home - just in case you don't find a color you like there. read more

Not only did I have to drive out of my way I had to wait an hour to have them fix one nail with one plain color. Horrible customer service. If you cannot keep an appointment, don't take them. I have waited HOURS here before for service only to be treated as a burden. With that in mind I made sure to make and appointment and double check they would be able to take me at that time and they assumed me that was the case. Then the man who did my toes scrubbed them with a vegetable brush ! Scratched so bad ! Hurt for days ! And he only wore one glove and that was not the hand he was using . If I could give zero stars I would. I have never felt so out of place at a salon before. Not only did I wait at least 35 minutes but by the time I finally got seated the girl tried taking off my regular nail polish and was digging at my nails rubbing them with her cotton ball. I got so fed up after she spent no joke 5 minutes on ONE PINKY NAIL, I asked her if I could do it. SHE WAS USING RUBBING ALCOHOL INSTEAD OF ACETONE! And when I told her she just completely looked down and didn't look at me. I ended up taking off my own polish at the salon and walked out 15 minutes later. I will never go back here. It still seems that if you don't get more than basic pedicure, they just want you out. Too bad, because I get a "basic " pedi. Once a week!!! May be a language thing, but my girl never said a word to me or bothered to ask me how it was. Women doing my daughter's nails never said a word to her. She's a teen, but very polite. I'm surprised at the negative reviews! Been going to Cindy's since they were at the Tops plaza on Sheridan and Delaware. I have never had a bad experience. Some techs are more experienced than others, but they will come and supervise a real newbie to make sure they are doing everything properly. Rarely have to wait, but I come on a weekday morning or afternoon so its not usually packed. The prices are reasonable and they offer a lot of upgrades to the pedicure or manicure if you ask, just read their 'menu'. I stick with OPI brand polish because I feel it lasts longer and is of better quality, I'll even bring my own if I find a neat color at a bargain price. Everyone who works there has been more than pleasant, even if they don't speak a lot of English, especially if you pay attention and don't just stare at your phone the entire appointment. As long as they are in business, they will have mine. read more
