I love this place! Its a little cinema from days gone by and although it is very small, it has its…read morecharm. This is actually the only place in Mons you'll find movies in English. They show all the movies in their original language (with French subtitles). Don't look for Hollywood blockbusters here but you'll find Woody Allen films and many that go to the Sundance Film Festival, for example. The prices of the movies are a lot cheaper than the bigger cinemas up in Brussels and this place is very cozy.

This is a cinema complex located in the southern Belgian town of Mons. I have only been here once,…read morea while ago and it was far from impressive. The main problem is that, sure, there are a lot of American movies but like the French, the Walloons of Belgium also watch these movies dubbed from English to French. In the last 5+ years I had only heard about one movie being shown in the original language and that was a documentary. If you're local and want to catch movies in their original language, then head to Plaza Art, which is right downtown in Mons (see other review) or a half hour north to the Imagi-Braine, which shows movies in their original language for a week or so before only using the dubbed versions.
