This is the Ultimate Picture Palace for the residents of Jericho, but you could argue it's slightly better. Prices are pretty typical, but the good value food and drink makes you feel you're getting a good deal: Full price £7.00 Members £5.50 Child £5.00 Concessions £6.00 Weekday performances before 5pm are about £1 less for the higher price range. You can see some of the normal films that are out in mainstream cinemas, if the Odeon's screening times are inconvenient or you fancy a smaller screen. Of course, the main attraction is the great range of foreign films (French films most Tuesdays), which are subtitled for non-linguists; period films, art films and independent documentaries. A word of warning: Don't assume that just because the films are obscure, you can rock up at the last minute and get in; films are often sold out and it's a good idea to book in advance if there aren't many showings. Finally: the best thing - check out the funky toilet seats and neon lighting. A great addition to the other-worldy experience!

Prices are very reasonable, ranging from £5 and £4 for afternoon screenings and £6 for evening films. Movies@Malmesbury also shows live opera and ballet from the Royal Opera House in London in addition to arts documentaries and other events. It's nice it has a Costa, so if that's your taste then definitely go. However one thing that is slightly annoying is the fact that they've changed the seating into different categories. The majority of people prefer to sit in the middle-ish normal seats which offer the most comfortable viewing position. However, they now made that "Classic Popular" which is now £17.49 baring in mind that the Premier seats are £18.49. The middle row has now been completely replaced by Premier seats so that's pretty annoying as they used to be at the top. If you would like to have neck pain and save yourself £1.50 compared to a "Classic" seat, go for the saver seat which is literally 3 rows away from the screen.

Although the cinema screens and seating are nice, it is unfortunately let down by a lack of staff and expensive concessions. In fact we went in recently and they were selling the tickets from the concessions area, however the sign that told you this was tiny and was sitting on the ticket desk (which you couldn't get to because they'd roped it off, which meant you couldn't read the sign because it was too far away!) Genius! The downside here is that you can't book seats, so for the popular films it's a real free for all. From my point of view we tend to avoid this place because it just doesn't seem as organised as other cinemas.

I have never had a problem with getting tickets, just turning up a while before the screening starts. It never has been that busy when I have been there, sometimes there are only a few people watching a film!! The confectionary and drinks are very expensive though, I don't buy anything there. There are several restaurants in the Ozone so you could have a meal out and make a night of it for a special occasion. Also the carpark is large and free!! Sometimes they have promotional vouchers off your next ticket, which is always great to get!

The theatre is very comfortable and is only a small one so you can see everything that is going on no matter where you sit. Watch out for the tickets at the front though as you'll end up sat on the same level as the stage, which can be a bit uncomfortable when the actors are right in front of you. The productions I've seen here have been good - the theatre has quite a few seats so if the play wouldn't pull in the crowd, they wouldn't put it on here. Worth a visit.
