Their Challah on Friday is very moist and delicious. The cinnamon buns themselves are warm, straight out of the oven with a variety of flavored icing as well as any topping you can imagine. In this situation, less is more though as my son got a bunch of stuff on it and it was just too sweet for one cinnamon bun. I went on Yelp looking for donuts, and found Cinnaholic instead. The jury's still out on whether I'll be making this a mainstay for sweetness. The big factor will be whether I'll like a different varietal than what I had the first time. But there's potential. Cinnaholic is in a good spot on 20th Street in Boca -- located in the same plaza as Cosa Duci and down the street from Munchies. There's plenty of parking in front of the cinnamon roll shop. When I arrived, I saw at least two to four outside tables, and there were another few inside upon entering. The interior is very nicely decorated -- wooden floors, marble countertops with glass separators, and royal purple-painted walls -- definitely eye-pleasing. The center area of the counter is where they have the display for the cinnamon rolls and cookie dough, which looked to die for... and decadent as hell. The impression I had was this was a nicer, upscale version of [insert name] or whatever cinnamon roll/bakery franchise you want to conjure in you head. The guy that served was very nice and cordial, made some small talk while putting my cinnamon bun order together. Asked me where I had heard about Cinnaholic, and I mentioned that I had been searching for donuts and found this place. So, I'm sure you're waiting to find out the answer to the $64,000 question. How was the cinnamon roll? I ordered the Cookie Monster cinnamon roll, which looked really good in the display. I think it was under $5 after tax. Wasn't bad. What I expected for something that looked that relatively large and decadent with all the trimmings on it -- cookie dough, chocolate syrup, some other crazy drizzle. I brought it back to my office to enjoy. Definitely gluttonous, definitely sweet... a little too sweet. There was a little bit of an after taste on that I couldn't put my tongue, but it didn't quite satisfy the way I hoped. I don't think it was an issue with the cinnamon roll itself, or the cookie dough topping. I think it was more the chocolate sauce. It just didn't sit right with me. So that was a little disappointing. Still, I'm not willing to give up on the spot. The only downfall is that this does mean they can get pricey- but just more and more delicious! Overpriced and nothing special, this restaurant represents the worst of American food trends and the tone of this review is likely because I feel stupid that I fell for it. While fresh, the dough was plain and the texture just average, the butter, cinnamon + frosting were not gooey and yummy -- the whole thing felt a bit standard and pretty darn basic. I ordered another with Apple and pecan on top (for an additional $1.20 on top of that). One might expect the Apple pieces were baked or seasoned (like a compote), the pecans toasted -- NOPE. Like someone literally diced up a gala Apple in the kitchen, left the peel on, and they sprinkled some pieces on top -- right after the not-so-generous portion of pecan chips were added straight out of a plastic bag. BASIC. While the employees here are friendly, they add insult to injury when they flip around the payment iPad and you're asked to tip them between 15-25% ON TOP of the overpriced baked goods. 3 highly mediocre cinnamon rolls, each only about the size of my fist -- and one PLAIN -- for OVER $20!? I came here for the $1 Old School Rolls today and won a free cookie on the wheel! I decided to get a Soft Serve as well which was really good but it's sssuuupper sweet, almost like marshmallow sauce. You can put as many sauces as you want or add extra topics for .60 each. I added cookie dough and it was $4.35. I actually wasn't able to finish the soft serve because it was so rich and sweet. Gonna have to bring it to my hunny so he can finish it along with the cinnamon roll. I'm really glad I made it this year to the event because last year I was too late. These are phenomenal. Like drool worthy, guilt ridden day dreams at gym of these cinnamon buns. Here's the deal, I'm not vegan, lactose intolerant, gluten free etc but man these taste better than cinnabun having all of those put together. Here are some protips if you don't live near by: batch purchase, individually aluminum wrap with zip lock, freeze, defrost, and warm up in the oven. Frosting is freezable, but I usually keep some extra in the fridge. They taste so fresh, you'll never notice. A little shop in the midst of several new trendy experiences. It's definitely a late night, after dinner treat. We had coupons, so we were ready to try. Viewing the place from across the street, we could not tell if it was still open. When we arrived, there was only a mom and her two kids at the counter. Since they were undecided, she let us go first. Good thing she did! Next thing you know, the small shop was filled with about 8 people. Service was mighty slow. We only had frosting and one topping. They probably need to get their process more streamlined. Although it they both tasted great, I'd expected a larger, higher rising cinnamon roll for $6. This spot came up on my social media feed and I couldn't resist, in a fan of Cinnabon so I figured why not try this. The service received was exceptional the minute you walk in you a greeted but all of the staff and asked if it's your first time, they even offered free samples and tastes of toppings. If you're like me and love cinnamon rolls, you're in for a real treat. Often I've avoided cinnamon rolls trying to eat healthier, so I was delighted to discover a healthier alternative at Cinnaholic. Not only are the cinnamon rolls freshly made and delicious, (drool worthy actually), they're mostly organic, all natural, vegan and kosher. So at least when I'm going to indulge I can feel good about the ingredients. Did I mention they have over 15 icings and over 20 toppings? basically you customize your cinnamon roll to be anything you want it to be. I left the place with four different rolls the Cookie Monster, birthday cake, Smore's, and one that was topped with fresh berries. All the rolls are huge, fresh and they also have mini buns. Heard about this place from a friend who knows I have a sweet tooth and finally decided to check it out with my family. The shop is tucked in the corner of a small plaza. We opted to eat our cinnamon rolls in the shop cause we didn't want to wait to get home but the oven does make it very warm inside the shop. If you have better self control maybe order it to go. We got the double cookie roll (vanilla frosting with Oreos and chocolate chip cookie pieces and a chocolate sauce drizzle) and the strawberries & cream roll (cream cheese frosting topped with strawberries and graham crackers). Both were delicious! The base cinnamon roll is dense, gooey, and incredibly flavorful (hard to believe they're vegan). Out of the two we picked the strawberries and cream was the better selection, with the toppings being a nice compliment to the roll and not overpoweringly sweet. Also, we chose premade selections but you have the option of creating your own with tons of frosting and topping selections. If you don't mind the sugar coma that comes after indulging in these sweet treats, I definitely recommend checking them out. read more

Here's the thing... I LOVE cinnaholic, they taste great, and the people are usually very friendly. My personal favorite happens to be the build your own, and I get it with cream cheese frosting, Caramel drizzle on top, and pie crumble.. the reason I'm writing this review and am giving it two stars is simply the inconsistency of their hours. I promise you the hours differ with this place week to week. During my first visit, I ordered a half chai and half vanilla icing roll. The chai flavor was pretty strong but not overwhelming. The roll is served warm so the icing just melts right into it and distributes all around so the flavors of chai, vanilla and cinnamon in one bite is a great way to fix a sweet tooth. During my second visit, I brought my mom along because I knew she'd like it just as much as I did. She ordered a coffee icing roll and I ordered hazelnut icing with cookie dough on top. Now don't get me wrong, having chocolate in the mix of all that yummy goodness was great but there was TOO much of the cookie dough especially since it melted.
