The Kino Rye is built in a former Victorian school building and has won several design awards. There are three screening rooms that can also all be hired on a exclusive basis (the red, blue and silver rooms). Smaller than the big multiplex screens but comfortable with roomy seating and a licensed cafe-bar serving coffee, cakes, wines and beers. Very chic!

I love the cosiness of it, although the seats can get a little uncomfortable after a while (if you have a sensitive back, I suggest taking a cushion to be on the safe side!) I love this cinema and heartily recommend it to anyone who comes to the Old Town.
