I have been coming to this location for years. Fidel, Rachel and Myron have been an exceptional…read moremanagement team since the beginning. Now that Fidel left, the new store manager, Santana is awful! She talks down to customers, treats them like they are stupid and have even seen her talk down to employees. A few days ago I was standing at self check out and she made a comment to another new employee that she was going to make the store be women led and push the men out. On another day I came in and she was yelling at the kitchen staff and I asked the new blonde girl at the registers and she said, oh she's just yelling at her husband!! I was shocked because that family tension should NOT be for customer eyes to see. This is not the experience that this location had before she came. It used to be friendly and a place where regulars were known by name. Now it feels unwelcoming because the new leader treats customers and employees like a dictator. Bring back the old staff because the new ones are going to bring the store down.

It's a touristy gift shop, with some specialty items, lots of buc-ees branded merch, convenience store style hot food items, coffee, stuff for your car, your pets and you, your kids, your sweetie. I'm not sure if it's a mini mall, an expanded truck stop convenience store, or a glaring testament to consumerism. What makes it different from the usual convenience store might be the bbq cutting station with periodic group shouts from the guys working that area. I have no idea what they were saying, but it happened pretty regularly and you could hear it all over the store. And let's talk about the fudge station. Oh yes .... Winner on that. Still, it's a convenience store, a couple of steps above the norm, but once you get beyond the circus-y vibe, it's an experience that leaves me with the meh mindset for a repeat. Except maybe for that fudge and the people working the checkout counters ...

My boys and I were out running errands and got a flat tire. Naturally, the spare was flat... first we carried it to the Safeway fuel station which had an air station but turned out to be broken. After hauling across the street to Shell I was dismayed to see the air machine only took quarters! But the attendant came to the rescue with quarters. Thank you for helping turn a catastrophe into a minor inconvenience!

Last week I filled up my sedan for $30. Had I filled up my car all the way at this place it would've cost me almost $70! That is absolutely ridiculous! There is no need to gouge and take advantage of people that are filling up here. Why would I pay $4.50 a gallon for regular unleaded when I can drive five minutes away from here and get it at Costco for $2.19 a gallon?! I assumed it was simply a mistake and moved on. Today, I went and bought Vuse cartridges. Same cashier. I used my rewards. On my way out the door, I got my receipt emailed to me. I opened it and there was another charge for $5 worth of scratch tickets. I went back in and asked for my physical receipt. It took about 4 minutes for him to get it and when he did, he immediately pointed out that he had issued a $5 refund. Please be careful and check your receipts. This seems to be common practice, at least with this cashier.
