I have frequented this place several times. Both for gas and convenience items like hard seltzers. They have decent gas prices and if you join their inner circle you can save even more. Will and Liz are always nice and helpful if needed. I do wish they would get different truly hard seltzers but it is what it is. I can just go to the other location for those. I have not had any issues at this location and the place always seems clean for the amount of traffic they see each day. Always seems busy. read more

I love coming to this circle k everyone is so nice especially Robert this new guy he is sweet and kind he is funny lots of people coming into this circle k. People are rude to him when he check for people's ID for alcohol or cigarettes or lotto products they're really rude to him. But he keeps clam and respectfully tells them that he is new and they told him I don't care. Give this young man a raise in his pay. read more

I was in here this morning from about 7:56 to about 8:04. I was trying to buy $20 of gas. Some guy was buying a lot of lottery tickets and I was the second in line. It took a bit to sort out the $50 in lottery tickets but I waited my turn. After the lottery guy left, the cashier skipped me and waited on a guy who was not even in line. They need to help the customers in the order they are lined up. Will not be back here, Atascadero has many places to buy overpriced gas. I don't care if the guy who cut was a vendor or the mayor of Atascadero. I was there first, they should wait their turn like everyone else. read more

I have had 2 or more bad experiences at the Morro Road, Atascadero location. First they have employees that have no customer service training, some are rude, and they have problems with their gas tanks. They will charge you a huge surcharge to use your credit card at the pump, over the allowed limit of 4%. This charge is a "pending charge" to see if you have the available balance on your card. I used a credit card and got $20.00 worth of gas at the pump. When I looked at my credit card the following day, Circle K charged my credit card $176.00! Yes, $176.00! This amount is pending and I was told the amount will fall off, but when? Why this large amount? I know of NO other gas station that does this! What if I needed to use the credit card for that amount in an emergency, I would not be able to! And why charge such a high surcharge for a $20 purchase?! I will never go to any of their stations again! Don't bother calling them, they NEVER ever answer their phone! If you go inside and complain, they will not show any customer service, but loudly say, "it's their policy!" I do NOT recommend this station nor any location. I am still waiting for the amount to come off of my card and it's day two. read more

Stopped at this store at around 9pm on a Tuesday night, September 2nd, to buy a lottery ticket. The stooge at the counter said he couldn't sell me one because the sign listing the prize amount says "The draw closes at 7:00 pm" and it was already past that time. I told him to talk to his manager because he clearly doesn't know what he's doing. Instead of making an issue of his lack of knowledge, I left and proceeded to 7-Eleven. At 7-Eleven, after 9 pm, they promptly sold me a ticket without any stupid excuses. Very disappointed with the.Circle K clerk's lack of common sense. Better training is needed.. read more

My gf went there to buy Juul pods and mind you we go there all the time roughly twice a week and never had issues. Today they are trying to say it is policy that they only sell 5 packs a day whether there 2 pods in the pack or 4 they can only sell 5, never once have I heard of such an outrageous policy I think the girl didn't want to do her job! Are they only gonna sell 5 packs of cigarettes a day and everyone else is out of luck? How about beer or chips only 5 a day and the rest of us are just out of luck? This location just had beverage bars redone, both hot and cold. The sodas are only 95 cents so it's a great grab. The employees are usually nice. Surprisingly, this station always has one of the lowest gas prices in town which makes it a bonus stop! read more

I am giving you guys a 2-star only because I was just in there the place is a mess nothing is stocked most of your sodas are out of order on the soda machine that ice machine was out of order and the staff really wasn't that friendly. Let me go a little further into how it was a mess the floor was super sticky there were sticky soda all over the brand new cups just looked over all nasty. What an awesome start to my day when i go there for my cup a joe. Fresh grounded cup every time! Been working for months on perfecting my daily splurge. Nearly a thousand different ways to make it. Because the price was good, I purchased gas here to refuel our family vehicles 3 or 4 times quite recently. Each time, no receipt was available at the pump. While it has been a nuisance to have to go inside to get a receipt, yesterday afternoon "crossed the line" for me. What appeared to be the only employee present was outside next to the store doors. (S)he had extremely red hair and yelled out "Sorry I'm on break!" and mentioned that the doors are locked as I began to walk towards the store. I did not have time to wait so I went home without a receipt! Typically the employees have been rude here but this most recent visit was certainly the worst. read more

I'm well aware of this being the worst gas station in town, but yesterday took the cake. There was only one clerk and he was on his 10, so he denied access to potential customers because he wanted to sit and smoke his cigarette. While we were waiting, a couple of homeless people came up on their bicycles and asked the young man to turn on the air for them so they could fill up their tires. Not only did he oblige them but he reentered the store with his lit, smoldering cigarette still in his hand. He remained inside the store for 45 seconds and when he came back out he continued to smoke and turn people away until he had finished. When I entered the building I was overwhelmed to the point of gagging because of the lingering smoke. I understand that it is legally required for him to take his break but I can't believe that he was the only employee in the building and it was only about 5 in the afternoon. They really need to get their act together. read more

Yesterday Feb 18th around 5 pm... the clerk behind the counter held his nose while waiting on a older female customer. Which made her feel uncomfortable and left your store in tears to the point she could barely pump her gas and my husband had to go back in side for her to have the air pump turn on so he could put air in the tire for her. Which he over heard the clerk talking to another customer about her and wasn't good either. Circle K you need to retrain your clerks about customers service and how to treat people. Just to let you know that customer they were making fun at has cancer... it took my husband and I to calm her down so she could drive. I myself will never step foot in your store again. I am not asking you to fire the clerk but make them aware their actions can cause you. PS. You should be happy my husband not writing this. There's a creature that calls themselves an employee here. It's a she, she's tall and breathes heavily and is the dumbest employee ever. She's working RIGHT NOW! It's Tuesday the 24th of June. And it's 4:00 pm. She apparently was the only one working and I must say that I wanted to throw a brick through the window just because she was so fucking rude! I got a bottle of water, and brought it to the counter, the price said 2 for 2. Otherwise it's 1.64 for one. They only had one bottle. So I saw another brand that had the same advertisement and grabbed that one and asked if I could instead mix 2 brands considering they were out of sparkling water. Her face was so confused and dumb founded. It's not rocket science. Scan the bottle of water! She said the computer won't do that. She didn't even try. So my husband put the bottle back and we were charged full price. THEN, we gave her a coupon for a free electronic cigarette from the manufacturer. She rolled her eyes because she had to put her reading glasses on, which apparently was a lot of work for her, she asked us (after reading it) which one we wanted, we told her the regular one, she grabbed it and threw it on the counter and tried to scan the coupon, she said that the computer isant reading it. We have had these before and all you have to do is scan it and void the purchase and the retailer gets the money directly from the manufacturer. It says EXACTLY how to process the coupon for the retailer. So then, since she was to stupid to do ANYTHING, we instead asked to get a regular pack of cigarettes which was difficult for her because she had to put the electronic one back and turn around and grab cigarettes that were closer to her arms length. The entire experience was ridiculous. We felt like we were not making her happy. She seemed miserable. She needs to get a new job or learn how to be a pleasant employee. When your as old as this woman was, you understand that she's old and working at circle K because she never learned how to excel at anything beyond that. I expect her to still be there for years to come because people like her, won't ever know how to have a sense of pride or happiness for themselves. read more
