This TD/Shell was super clean with easy access from 72 or Balch Road. The pumps worked as expected and trash cans were not overflowing. There were plenty of gas pumps, and parking spots. The store interior was stocked well, and was clean and modern. The TD offers all the convenience store accoutrements you would expect except vino. There is no vino in this store. They do have beer for sale. I can't speak to the coffee or the restrooms as I just glanced around the TD and got back to running errands. Thanks, TD, for offering a large, clean, well-lighted gas station experience in a part of town that really needs this (I'm looking at you Mapco on the north side of 72 at County Line Road - which is super tight in terms of space and frequented by panhandlers)!

It was a bonus that Huntsville Police would drive by and visit/check on us girls while we worked. Morning shift started at 6 AM and the store closed at 10 PM. We had to manually read and log the numbers from each gas pump, and it was nice to have the Police around during pump reading time right at closing. This Shell location was one of approximately 12 that we girls rotated working at, and they all had the same set up (bullet-proof glass, a slide out drawer for payment transactions, a safe in the floor, a back room full of cigarettes to keep the front cigarette area stocked, and a tiny restroom. Growing up around the corner on Holmes Avenue, I was happy this gas station "grew up" to be a full-service convenience store. It's located on the southwest side of the very busy intersection of University Drive and Jordan Lane.

The lady behind the counter was very friendly and answered our many first-timer questions - in sum, you can get custom made poke bowls (though the bowl menu doesn't indicate raw fish options - just ask!) with brown rice! I think you can nicely ask for some extra veggies in addition to the two that is allowed.
