Everything was correct. The shakes are amazing, my massive walleye fish sandwich was crispy, warm and delicious. We all enjoyed. The staff came over and asked if everything was OK and refilled our condiments for us. The restaurant was immaculate as were the bathrooms. This was a pleasure.

It was very good and cooked just right! I also ordered fries and the ice cream of the day which was snickers swirl. To be honest the snicker swirl was not my wife and I favorite. We didn't care for it and didn't finish most of it. Just wasn't our taste I guess but we do like snickers!!! My wife ordered the cod sandwich. As always it was delicious! This is one of her favorites. Everyone at Culver's is always friendly no matter what location you go to. Even at this location the dining room attendant ladies were super friendly and stopped and talked to us for a minute. One thing I do like about Culver's while traveling is the restrooms. They are large and you don't have to wait in line just to go into the restroom. Noticed some of the other restaurant chains are building small one person restrooms even with a large restaurant. Glad to see Culver's is not doing that!!!! Thank you Culver's for a great lunch today at this new location!!!

I decided to check out Portillo's and ordered the chicken sandwich combo with fries and a drink…read more Overall, the food was really good. The sandwich was fresh and flavorful, and the fries came out hot, which made it even better it definitely felt like everything was made to order. The inside has a really cute, old-school diner vibe that adds to the experience. It's a fun atmosphere and makes the visit feel a little different from your typical fast-casual spot. The service was also a highlight the young lady who took our order was friendly, welcoming, and took the time to explain menu options, which I appreciated. My only downside is the pricing. The items felt a bit on the higher side for what you get, so that's something to keep in mind if you plan to visit. Would I come back? Maybe but overall, it was still a great experience.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more First and foremost, this review is a collective of both my visit during the Yelp Week at four different Portillo's locations, mine being at Waterford Lakes, and my initial visit as a regular customer afterwards. Ergo, I will utilize the details for the Yelp Week that easily transfer to a regular visit, plus anything new I got through my second visit. For starters, this Portillo's is in a fantastic spot. If you haven't been to Waterford Lakes, it is a beautiful outdoor stripmall with many stores that are actually worth your time going into, not just store after store of clothing... though they do have some good options like Ross and Kohl's (latter is a "I believe it is there," but I know Ross is there). Upon coming up to Portillo's, you can tell it is that brand new genre of restaurant that is in-between fast food and fast casual. I don't even think it has a name yet. But if you've eaten at the new design for Chick-fil-a or at a Raising Cane's, you know it. Inside, Portillo's really leans on its Chicago roots with 1960s to 1970s silver trailer restaurant vibes, modernly updated. Imagine how those dive diners in the 60s and 70s were but with more technology, neon, and self-service commodities. For me, I have plenty of food here. Portillo's is known for their hot dogs so I had their jumbo chili cheese dog and Char-Grilled Maxwell Street Polish Sausage. I also got their breaded whitefish sandwich, beef and cheddar croissant, and cup of chili on its own. I will say the food, across the board, were all good. I thoroughly enjoyed the breaded whitefish sandwich as they actually make it thoroughly well. There are many places that do fried fish sandwiches in which the fish has been sitting in the freezer for too long and haven't been cooked thoroughly through. Ever bitten into a fish fillet and it is still wet, and sometimes slimy, on the inside? As mentioned earlier, this review is based on two visits. The Yelp Week was dine-in in which the service was great, Katherine was trained well and kept her cool whenever an issue arrisen, and the ambiance just fit the experience. My second time was through the drive-thru. What a below average experience that was. I must stress the staff was kind, but the fact that I had to look at the menu on one side of the building, drive around to the other side and make my order could be debilitating for those who don't have good memories. I wouldn't mind it so much, but isn't that the basic setup of drive-thru? What really got to me was how long it took Portillo's to make my order of two hot dogs and two sandwiches. The total was exactly 18 minutes from order start to finish. Wouldn't have been an issue but I was the only one in the drive-thru line at the time, and this was around 2 p.m. so there weren't that many patrons inside either. At least my food was wrapped securely to make sure nothing falls apart or spills. Ultimately, I am going to give this Portillo's location three-out-of-five stars for its review. I can't just shake the tantamount time it took for my drive-thru order to be made during stretch of downtime while being the only vehicle in said drive-thru. All I know is that I could possibly remedy that time if I take the time to order online or actually come down and order indoors There seems to be emphasize treating the indoor customers over the drive-thru.

Not a word was said to me as I stood for just shy of 10 minutes for an order-ahead mobile order. Ambience: again, it's McDonald's. What real ambience do you get from it. They have intentionally designed it to be off putting so people won't stay to dine in and when they do, the search is on for a clean table to sit at. McDonald's is at absolute shyte-hole. Everything that could go down hill has. I would point out that this nt just this location, this is the norm across ALL of McDonald's. From now on my kids will be told "NO" on the subject of McDonalds.

Order came pretty quickly but there was no salt or pepper out. Asked for it....but they forgot. Had to ask again and she was apologetic. Dining room was empty and employee was sweeping at my feet while I was eating. Told her the dining room was empty and she didn't have to be doing that while I was sitting here. Egg McMuffin tasted like something I never had. Maybe the egg or Canadian bacon met something else on the grill. Hash brown was ice cold and had to ask for a new one. That took 5 min. Went for a refill on my drink and the ice was almost out and the Diet Coke was out on the side I tried. I'm sure they're short staffed like many places but I'll not be returning here. Feel bad for the drive thru patrons who got cold food and could not return it.
