There are at least two reasons to love this particular Irving - the car wash. It's inexpensive, and does a great quick clean, especially when it's cold and I'm too lazy to do it myself. And the fact that it's open 24 hours - you never know when you'll need gas or something. The K store is well maintained - meaning lots of goodies on the shelves and clean.

Instead of helping customers, especially younger ones, he treats everyone like they're wasting his time. It's honestly ridiculous. Kids shouldn't be overcharged just because they're young, and a gas station shouldn't feel like you're walking into a lecture from someone who hates their job. Bottom line: Do better, Esso. The location is on a large lot, spacious bays and easily accessible (just be careful when attempting to turn left onto Hammonds Plains Rd when exiting from the roadside exit).Everything about the place seems brand spanking new, the Needs convenience store on-site is well stocked with all my favorites (like Powerade Zero *grin*) and the staff are always friendly. Hammonds Plains and surroundings aren't densely populated and so if you're from the local area, sooner or later you get to know everyone that works there, and they get to know you as well.
