The bakery section is dangerous in the best way possible, filled with so many delicious goodies and sweet treats that it's hard to choose just one. The hot food section had so many tasty options available that I honestly couldn't decide what to get. Everything looked fresh, hot, and delicious. No matter what you're craving, they probably have it. The store itself was super clean, well organized, and surprisingly efficient considering how busy it gets. The staff kept everything moving smoothly, and the atmosphere was fun and energetic. If you've never been to Buc-ee's, you need to stop at least once. And once you do, you'll probably find yourself wanting to stop every time you see one on the road.

I finally decided to pull over and call some gas station and the guy who picked up the phone knew right away what I was talking about. He said they had them in stock! It was literally 2 minutes away from my hotel. Smh. I can't wait to go home and put on some gloves and see what the hype is about these pickles. Police told them to stick with beer, gas and cigarettes, I guess. They really seemed not to realize that they were breaking the law. They've been taking a lower profile since then. This convenience store // gas station used to be a Citgo (and two or three other brands before that.) Now has no sign whatsoever - not even a 'Speedy Mart' sign - except the gas-price posting. But the gas here is always $0.12/gal cheaper than its nearest competitor (a Mobil station a block away.) In their parking lot, they have used-clothing drop-off boxes for two different charities. I pay a bit extra here for the convenience for quickly getting milk, but not too bad a gouge. Heck, it's a convenience store. Guy behind the counter always seems happy to chat with me. Check it out.
