On June 30th I was at the Circle K store at 490 Princess Street and I bought a Red Bull. I left…read morethe store and then opened the drink. It didn't taste at all like that Red Bull flavor. It had a noticeable sewage type taste. I brought it back to the store and explained the situation to the clerk there. I told him that the drink I just bought tasted like sewage and I wanted to get another one instead. He told me I could not get another drink so I requested my money back. He refused to allow me to either get another drink or refund my money. He did not seem to understand the seriousness of the problem and I explained that the drink tasted like sewage, like poop and pee. Something that tastes like sewage can make you very ill and most people know that but he didn't seem concerned that this was being reported about a drink bought at the store he works. He would not assist me by allowing me to get another drink or refund my money despite me telling him that I am very broke and can't afford to not get something out of my money. I left the drink on top of the ice cream treat freezer and left the store. I don't think that this is an appropriate way for Circle K to handle things and I didn't feel well for quite a while after I left the store. I'm hoping that Circle K will make this right for me and also not treat others this way in future. Anything that tastes like that should be sent off to be tested to see if it poses a danger to human health and then someone should determine how it got in the drink. In addition, it is not okay to not offer someone their money back or at least a replacement item if something is that wrong.
