Needless to say I was surprised to see a LAKE (overflow reservoir) at the pitstop. My daughter wanted to go play in the water. Even though it was cold outside! She had a blast!! It was the first time she has ever seen a lake! It was great fun! Elation ran through us like a lightening bolt!

Never went inside for receipt or anything else - just left location. Next morning, a charge showed up on credit card account from Pilot attempting to charge $176. Someone at this PILOT location, who has access to credit card info, attempted to commit fraud. I wonder how many other current/former customers had fraudulent charges added to their credit card accounts by this business. Law Enforcement is useless (since the bank stopped the attempt and reversed charges). The $21 of gas that I actually spent at the pump has never been charged. Waiting to see if PILOT attempts to add the $21 I did pump. If and when that happens, we will know who the fraudster is, but Law Enforcement would care less since nothing was actually gained by the attempt.

So, they card everyone now, clearly demonstrating that the have no judgment skills whatsoever. Carding gray haired wrinkled people, who have obviously been eligible for decades to buy a product, demonstrates a power trip and a lack of skill. It also demonstrates that they really don't want to sell you a product. There needs to be common sense in the application of safeguards. Really, every time with the same two old ladies? Is their judgment skill really that far off? I look young, but nowhere near underage. I'm 59, its hard to hide. By decades. They see me every day and know damn well I'm of age. They need to lighten up. You really should hire people that have some judgement skills. The men don't card after they see you a few times. They are demonstrating memory and judgment skills, as well providing me a guest experience that is pleasant and fast. If two "elder" cashiers are working, I make sure to avoid them if possible. That's a really great thing about this location, it means they check the items on the shelves frequently. The lady at the front register was super friendly and fun to have small talk with as we checked out. I didn't catch her name, but she was great! Excellent customer service at this store, with nearly fully stocked shelves. I highly recommend this location, if you're in the area. I will surely be stopping here again when I am in town. There's a good amount of parking and handicap parking as well.

When checking out I asked about getting $60 cash back. She said the most they could do was $50 and to use the ATM if I needed more. The ATM was broken. She refused to let me get cash back without a purchase. I just pointed to the $70 in purchases i had just made and she said I needed to do two more transactions to get the money I wanted. Then when I went to do that, I was told they only had $5 in the drawer available for cash back. When I asked her what we could do to resolve the issue, she said this was my problem, not their's. I replied sarcastically "Gee, thanks for the tremendous help and outstanding customer service" as I walked out. Before the door closed I distinctly heard her say "Fuck off asshole", or something to that effect. Needless to say, my opinion of this location has been drastically re-evaluated.
