The mobile drive-thru is awesome too... but don't get any ideas, other people -- if everyone used it, my personal breakfast efficiency would be at risk. The food? Always solid. The only thing that could improve is the drive-thru speed; the lines can get pretty epic. It's a new store, though, and from what I've seen over the last few weeks, they're speeding things up nicely. The team in the drive-thru always greets me with a smile, which is impressive considering I probably look like I just rolled out of bed. For a town with a great percentage of drivers with inadequate knowledge of road rules,there's too many stop signs in the parking lot. On my last visit, a driver was stopped, sitting in the way. I guess she was mentally exhausted from stopping at 2 signs and just zoned out! The drive-thru has 2 lanes, but one whole lane is for mobile orders! I haven't seen more than 2 in this lane, but the other is usually backed up. This makes me think the owner is as "in touch" with their people as the Biden administration was. Thankfully, I can now say was! Basically, if they raise their standards on the cooked food and do away with the mobile lane, I could easily give them 4 or 5 stars.

I ordered the Freddy's Original Double, which I've had plenty of times before, but today it just hit different. The burger was cooked perfectly--fresh off the grill, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The toppings were spot on and balanced just right. When a burger is dripping with juices as you bite into it, you know it's done right. Nobody wants one of those dry, Sahara-desert burgers where you need a sip of water after every bite. This one definitely wasn't that. If the burgers are cooked like they were today every time, this place would be slam packed 24/7. The service was great too--quick turnaround, friendly smile at the register, and good food on a Sunday afternoon after church.
