We weren't sure which part of the counter we were supposed to place our items on, and instead of giving us even a basic bit of direction, the employee behind the register acted like we were an inconvenience for simply asking. The rudeness was immediate and completely unnecessary -- sharp tone, impatient attitude, and zero effort to help. What made it worse was that the worker essentially refused to check us out. I've never had someone deny service over something as small as not knowing which part of a counter to use. It felt unprofessional, disrespectful, and honestly embarrassing for no reason. Everyone has bad days, but this went beyond that. If a job involves dealing with customers, basic courtesy shouldn't be optional. I hope management pays attention, because no one should be treated like that over a simple purchase.

While in the gas station the rude cashier acted as if my husband was trying to steal items, as my husband couldn't carry everything while holding his coffee. As my husband had walked there and was dressed casually, he was treated poorly. You would think the young black male cashier wouldn't profile people, but such is the world today. While we continue our stay here in Pensacola we will go to other gas stations if we need coffee. My advice is to wear a suit if you want to be treated decently.

When they tore down the old building and built a new building, they installed new pumps with NFC readers. When I tried to use Apple Pay, my phone and watch dinged, the pump dinged, the lights on the NFC logo came on, the screen said processing, but then said card declined. It did this with every card I have. CVS did this for years before it started working It means that the pump hardware supports Apple Pay, the pump software supports Apple Pay, it's turned on, the wireless radios are turned on, but something in the back office that connects to the payment processor is not setup yet or not configured properly. Since they just opened, and they take Apple Pay inside, hopefully this just means that they are still in the process of getting this setup. If it starts working, I will bump my review to 5 stars. Update: 6 months in, still not working. But now the Circle K at Creighton and Spanish Trail takes Apple Pay at the pump.
