Stopped by on Sunday, 06/22/25. Boyfriend and I purchased the priority seats which were around $47 per person (sat right in the center so that we were able to see the entire view of the circus). We went to the one in Montebello. We had a great time - the circus acts were dangerous, suspenseful and comical. There were not a lot of audiences (not a full house), which I feel made the experience a bit bland. The more people the better the fun. We took pictures with one of the Caballero brothers and bought one for $15. There is a snack area where you can purchase simple snacks, nothing too fancy. read more

I will never cheat on Circus Vargas to go to this scam circus ever again. I'm fine with paying the $8 for a bottle of water. I get that they make money off the concessions and it's a small business. What does bother me is that they stop the entire show to pressure everyone into buying these silly balloons for like $10. Definitely on the pricy side but for the attraction I think it's worth it! Paid $230 for priority seating for 4 adults and 1 child. Food like everywhere is overpriced but it's ok for a quick snack to enjoy the show, we purchased $6 coke $6 Gatorade $8 popcorn $8churro , and $8 lemonade, as well as nachos. The biggest complaint I see in the comments is with the constant sales, but to be honest, I didn't mind. We have to understand that this is how they make a living. They're not a huge corporation. They are a family owned business. I purchased the five dollar balloon for my niece, but we did not purchase anything else as she wasn't attracted to anything else. Definitely was a fun time. It's a Parking Lot Circus. They Nickle and dime you. From the moment you walk in. $15 light up wands. $8 popcorn. $8 lemonade. $6 water Etc. before the show starts they go around taking photos of audience with a clown. i thought for their social media. But later come to you mid show and try to sell you the photo for $15. they Take a break to sell you $5 latex balloons on a stick and $5 clown noses. Then there's an intermission and they invite you down to take a photo with their "caballeros circus" sign when you get to it a girl with a credit card reader informs you...you have to pay to take a photo. They took lots of other opportunities to stall the show and try to sell you other items. They even go around to collect tips. surprised they didn't charge you to leave. BUT the show part is entertaining when they do the acrobats and stunts (half the show is time stalling bad skits). Not all acrobats and stunts successfully pulled off. Juggler dropped stuff. Tight rope guy fell off. Trapeze people missed. The big flaw of the night was a cable snapping during set up one of a huge props. Which broke a second item while guy was performing. they flipped lights on and ended that portion of show. I paid $25 for child tickets and $35 for adult tickets. Plus $10 processing fee. And $3 service fee per ticket. In all I paid $170 for 5 people. In today's world that's cheap so in the end dodge the tacky shake down for money and enjoy the show. All the female performers are performing stunts in thongs. Males have their downstairs equally on display. And half the clown skits are sexually charged. my 13 year old giggled. My 5 year old was clueless. Not sure why bodysuits couldn't have more coverage. And why the boys arent wearing cups or padding. ‍ read more

This is a Latin based circus, and they were in the 626 area for a week. I was able to purchase the ticket online. Location was convenient as it was set up in the parking lot of a mall, and there were plenty of parking spaces. They also sell snacks (e.g. cotton candy, nachos, drink etc.), and they were a bit expensive. The show was a typical circus show, nothing very stood out. The best part is the funny crown. He was able to pull the excitement vibe of the crowd. Majority part of the circus was in Spanish, and I was unable to enjoy most of it because I did not understand the language. read more

Loved this circus show! The energy and enthusiasm of the performers was fantastic. It felt so exciting to walk up to a colorful big top and hearing old fashioned circus music. The young staff were so welcoming. Sometimes some acts missed but so what. That is part of the excitement of a live show, no editing, right, not perfect. Yes, they promote lots of opportunities to support this show. Don' t need a discounted ballon? Get one then give it away to some kid who was told not to expect anything but to see the show. Be kind. I do not understand the hater reviews. I think they should stick to the mega stadiums and techno events where everything like parking and souvenirs are more "bang for the buck" right, not. This was an old fashioned family owned (I think) live entertainment show that touched my heart and provided some healing for everything not good happening right now. Don't waist your time if you don't speak Spanish and not looking for cheap shopping and if you love circus. You can go to a regular Mexican bazaar if you want to buy things. Make sure that the whole program is in Spanish (not even bilingual). And it is way toooo much talking! Never seen anything like that in the Circus. What an incredible experience! The performers were phenomenal. The acrobats left me in awe, and the ring of death motorcycle act was simply awesome. Tutti fruity was very comical, but the dogs stole the show. They were so cute, smart, and looked so happy performing for the crowd. I don't understand why someone left a negative review about the dogs. They were performing the same things that you would expect from a normal dog show. I highly recommend this circus to everyone! Fun times at the circus! Circus Caballero is currently at Torrance at the Del Amo Fashion Center till April 11. Tickets start at $40 for adults and $20 for kids (though do check out their website for a coupon for free admission for kids under 10 with one paid adult ticket). I got to see the Circus Caballero at Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance recently and thought there were some pretty entertaining acts. There were acts with a little bit of magic (with artists who's clothes would "magically" change), acts with a little bit of humor (with clown that would come out a few times) and acts full of oohs and ahh (flying trapeze act, motorcycle stunts, tightrope walking). As other Yelp reviews have mentioned there is several intermissions (a bit more than I would have liked) and there is a lot of selling of food and souvenirs. Popcorn was $8, light up swords were $15 and balloons were $5. The clown also just randomly comes up to you for a "free" picture. It can definitely get pricey fast but all in all it's about having the whole circus experience. Aside from the many breaks/intermissions; I think the circus show itself was good. The Caballero brothers are talented and you can tell there's a lot of training and practice that went into the acts themselves. Totally disappointed, I purchased a single ticked one hour ahead of time and it wasn't any sign announcing that food or soda drinks are not permitted in the premisses. Then I went to MacDonalds and got food to eat inside The Circus while watching the show. Well that was my plan but the security guard prevent me from bringing my food inside. I comply and got off from the lane to eat my food outside. all at sudden I realize that the same safety guard was letting people get inside with food like Tacos only because that food was purchased at the Circus stand. This to me is double standard that should not be acceptable. On the other hand The Tacos Stand owned by The Circus did not look properly or legally permitted. read more

I was surprised by how nostalgic the performances were. The workers are all extremely talented and real professionals. The motorcycles in the cages was my absolute favorite. I don't know why this place has bad reviews. But I hope my review helps. I've been to their circus twice now. I keep up with where they're going to be by checking out their insta. I went to the Ontario show. I get a good show for what they charge. Tickets go for $35. You can buy online and save time. Free parking because it's in a public space. Always good seating and their staff is helpful. The whole show lasts about and hour and a half with a 10 min break at half way. They serve churros, hot dogs, cotton candy and popcorn as well. It's definitely an experience you have to check out. Bring a date, kids or like me, I took my mom lol their show consists of acrobats, juggling, comedy, dancing, stunts and they even get the audience involved in a few of their acts. We saw the circus driving by and thought we'd take our 5 year old for something to do. We were very glad we did! What a fantastic show! I'm usually not very impressed with things these days and wasn't expecting much but the Circus Caballero was amazing! The performers are so talented, they jumped from one act to another and put on a great show. The sound quality was excellent too. It really surprised us and we have a fantastic time. The swinging acrobatics was mind blowing. Looking around, everyone in the room was clapping and getting into it. We went to the afternoon show so it wasn't full but the vibe was incredible! I actually enjoyed it more than any Cirque show in been to. Great to see young performers making such an effort, they put their all into it. I highly recommend! Great show! Regarding the negative reviews mainly about the selling of merch... it's the Circus! That's part of the experience! Watch any movie or anything with a circus, they always sell as much as they can to help keep the admission price down, stop complaining, you don't have to buy anything but what Circus doesn't have all the extras like popcorn and balloons! Very pushy and cringy sales. Throughout the show they constantly shove cheap merchandise in your kids face to try to guilt you into buying. Glowing light sticks, ten dollar balloons etc. They even charged me $10.00 to take a photo of my son on a plastic dumbo on my own phone. It seemed free and tgen when I got up there a lady had a tap and demanded I pay. Seemed like a scam. The brothers are talented. The show is a bit corny but the guys are pretty goid acrobats and some are decent musicians. This is a great event for families especially with kids and you won't feel broke afterwards. I agree that they were pushy with their sales but it was obvious it's run by a family so of course they have to try to earn as much $$ as possible. But you can easiy ignore it too as they were not in your face either. The staff was very courteous. I have such fond memories of going to the circus and the magic that surrounds it and I know our kids had a lot of fun as well. Things have changed so much since I was younger. Now they use LED lights for their props which of course WOWs the kids (and me!!). They're also musical so kids got exposed to different instruments. I mean this group of performers did everything themselves!!! It really felt like the good ol' days where they're not just hiring different talent to put together a show. THEY were the show! From acrobatics to music to even doing the selling! It felt overall familiar. I just don't think many families want to spend about $100 a ticket for children's entertainment so Circus Caballero was really worth it. The children in our age group ranged from 4 - 7 years old. Fun afternoon for young & old. I attended the Vallejo matinee show Sunday June 11, 2023. The show is about two-hours long with a fifteen-minute intermission. The parking was free & I used a coupon for $20 admission, good for adults & youth; Sunday matinee, only, otherwise adult pricing starts at $35. The concessions are pricy; like $10 slice-pizza, $10 popcorn, $10 nachos, LED swords (price not posted & I figured if I had to ask...) There are no animals in the show. There is a somewhat annoying clown-character. I more so enjoyed the dancing ladies and their spinning on ropes from the ceiling. I also liked the motorcycle-globe. As you might expect the show is conducted in Spanish but I could understand some words. most of it doesn't require narration. I attended this show, pre-pandemic & I plan to return next Sunday June 18, 2023 noon-matinee show with several young nephews; who I think will enjoy the show. While there is up selling abound, the show is quality & cool with less expensive options, for the Sunday matinee, with the coupon. I found coupons at Cheesesteak Shop & Pieology. read more

They are in San Diego for 1 week. (Montgomery Waller Park) The entertainers are very nice and the circus is fun for the family. The trucks are spotless and the whole set up is amazing. Be kind, these performers are family and give up a normal life, live in trailers and practice daily to pack up and perform all over the World. My toddlers watch Let's go Luna so they loved the experience. My kiddos fell asleep the show is 7:30pm and show is long. Bring cash, they sell concessions, souvenirs, and take photos of your Family. You are paying for the ambiance and remember that all the proceeds go to support the Circus staying in business. Growing up the Circus was a childhood tradition for me and my Husband. Go to their website and screenshot the promo, with one paid Adult one child under ten is free. The general admission seats are good, plastic chairs. VIP is 50.00. Each and the promos don't apply. Those seats are in the front and the chairs are more comfortable and socially distanced. We sat in general area and had a great view and felt safe. I see acrobatics all the time at my local gymnastics center so I guess I'll just go to my local gymnastics center. The clown is a clown. Stop repeating acts and cut down his time. I understand that pandemic circus needs money but overcharging is not a way to retain viewers. The acrobatics were good but definitely can be better. I mean parkhour is FREE to watch. We absolutely love Circus Caballero and whenever they are in town or near we go and visit. We went to Torrance, then Thousand Oaks and now they are in Woodland Hills! My kids love love love them and I suggest all my friends to go. Brothers Caballero are amazing! I cannot believe anyone can actually leave mediocre review for these guys, I do not know where these people coming from. The team is great and have amazing acts! Last week we went to Cirque du Soleil in Microsoft Theater and we all loved Caballero much more, seriously . I even told the kids "too much circus" lolm but we could not miss Caballero's. You seat so close and watch all the crazy stuff they are doing. Acrobats are amazing! The little brother flying is amazing (my 9 y.o daughter always prays for him before his flying act) , the Ariel Silk girl is working so hard, the choice of the songs are amazing. Girls changing clothes, dancing, acrobat girl with archery are all outstanding! The death Globe motorcycle performance is wow!! Clown is fine, my kids were more impressed with other performers though, but he did his job. Tickets are not expensive considering how close you seat, very affordable show to go with family . 3 stars for the price, honestly. I had a pass to get my daughter in free otherwise she would have been $10 admission, but I was $40! Felt that was a bit steep but we were there and I promised her. $25-$30 would have been far more appropriate. Food is carnie food and $5 for each item. Seating is another compliant, chairs are not the most comfortable and many are broken. No complaints about the show. It was very entertaining, exciting and I felt appropriate for a family day out. My 3 year old was mesmerized! The show is based out of Jalisco I believe and 90% was in Spanish. I know a little but didn't feel like I was missing out or anything. Sat 4:30p show @ Richmond Hilltop in California, and there were only 40 ppl in audience. Sound system super loud, as there was not full seating of ppl to absorb the sound. The show was alright, but seemed like some of the performers were from the second string (juggler dropped 2x, tightrope walker didn't do any tricks). They engaged the audience during the show and had lots of music. No trapeze, dogs or motorcycle on tightrope, that I saw mentioned in other performances. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this show. Pretty cool family circus! We brought our two small children and we all had a blast! Great customer service. Great show. Nice family feel. Some humor may not be suited for everyone though... there's a small skit that involves the inferred idea of kids getting shot for singing off key.
