One of the biggest perks was the M Club Lounge, which offers daily breakfast and a comfortable space to recharge between sightseeing. Service was excellent from the start--we arrived early after an overnight flight and were pleasantly surprised to be checked in early, which made a huge difference after traveling. Clean rooms, great amenities, and an unbeatable location. Would absolutely stay here again, especially for a family trip or a holiday visit to Amsterdam.

The whole thing is set up so you don't have to interact with anyone, you just put your money in the machines and watch it disappear. It reeks of cigarette smoke, and upstairs is the smokers' room with two more roulette wheels and more slot machines. That room is even stinkier. I liked that they were friendly to me as a newbie. I don't like that the roulette wheel takes your money every spin even when you don't actually bet anything. Every spin you lose €2 whether you do something or not. It also doesn't tell you how much money you have left. Since the interface is very confusing it's easy to lose all your money no matter how you try to bet. There is a coffee machine and cheap cookies and soda to comfort you for losing money, but there are no cocktail waitresses or service of any kind.
