They were SO easy to work with, and were very helpful and flexible. The DP I used (his name is Chris Langer) says he rents from them all the time and they definitely treat their regulars well. They really know how to do business. They earned my respect, and I would go out of my way to rent from them if I had to, just because of the quality of service and ease of the transaction. Booking Cleveland Photo Group for my wedding continues to be my biggest regret. More details on why…read morebefore, but first, just google "raw vs. jpeg wedding" and know that they shoot in jpeg. Our ceremony was outdoors and we took family shots in the same location immediately after. They are all unusable. I tried to work with Cleveland Photo Group on edits and they couldn't deliver anything better. I finally realized I needed to hire someone else, but because the photos were shot in jpeg, they cannot be saved. I've consulted with several other photographers and editors at this point, and they've all been in agreement that the photos were shot incorrectly and can't be saved due to shooting in jpeg. Communication with Cleveland Photo Group was poor leading up to the wedding and after the fact with getting photos. Several people remarked to me how rushed the photographer felt during the day, and it shows in the photos. Many key moments and styles we had specifically asked for in advance were completely missed. We had to remind them to take individual photos of us, and he specifically had me leave my bouquet out of the pictures. He rushed me when getting changed to get a photo of my mom buttoning my dress, only to take a photo with my bra showing and only my mom's hands - no indication it is even her. Our "first look" can't even be recognized as a first look. Thankfully, we did get a couple nice photos. But, certainly not what we paid for and we didn't get many things I would expect from a reputable professional wedding photographer, such as tips on posing to look good or fixing my train in a single shot so that is shows nicely. I completely get that can't happen every picture, but the photographer was aware that I was wearing my deceased grandmother's dress and having a picture of it was very important, and he failed to deliver. As mentioned above, we chose our ceremony for the backdrop, with sky and lake, and it looks like a blank white screen in every photo. When we tried to work with them to fix it, we literally got the response "white girl in a white dress" was hard with the background. Though the team originally came off as kind and personable, I felt ignored and belittled in my dealings with the photographer leading up to and after the wedding. The main photographer grew more condescending as time when on, clearly putting no effort into shots he seemed to feel were beneath him, such as the first look and our table dash. So many key moments from a once-in-a-lifetime day were missed, and their team hasn't taken any accountability. If you're looking for anything other than a half-hearted, rushed capturing of your day that will leave you with regret, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Our kids hadn't slept much the night before and both of them (infant and 3 yr old) were so cranky and wouldn't smile. I was a bit bummed that we wouldn't get good photos, but you wouldn't have guessed! She captured our family in the best way - kids happy looking, natural (not awkward poses), nice framing and lighting, and just a really approachable style. Very pleased. She's comfortable to be around (first time meeting her) and she picked great spots to capture the scenery too. We have done several family sessions with professional photographers and she delivered more (good ones) photos than what I would usually get. Although we don't necessarily need a ton of photos, the deliverable was beyond what I expected. Totally worth it and will do it again so she can continue document our growing kiddos!
