Service was great, quality of work was excellent and the work was done in days. He recorded the damage prior to and after the repair. Since I can't really say if the cost was reasonable, I think I got my money's worth. I knew that my roof had a small leak at the ridge for over 10 years but had a handyman supposedly fixed it about 8 years ago. Unfortunately the leak came back and I wanted to get a real roofing company to evaluate it. He said it might cost a couple of thousand but once he opened it, he shared the video of the extensive damage. Since I have quite a few solar panels on it, the cost of replacing the whole roof would be astronomical due to removal and reinstalling the solar panels. But he said the since the panels that covered the roof wasn't leaking and looked OK, he could replace the ridge, the planks and all the tiles on the ridge for $20K. He took pictures through the repair process and I inspected the ridges from my attic. Everything was replaced and the good news is that I haven't seen any more leaks after several major storms. read more

Poor communication and 2 no show appointments. I adjusted my schedule and waited 2 days in a row for someone to show. No one came either day. They did get back to me hours after the first scheduled and asked to reschedule. I agreed. The next day they no showed again with no communication saying they would be late or not coming. I just sat and waited till I got frustrated enough, reached out and eventually got a reply. I cancelled due to lack of trust at this point. 2 days in a row my day was sitting at home, adjusting my schedule, waiting and no one showed. Simple communication is not too much to ask. Cisco's Roofing did an amazing, thorough, beautiful job replacing our roof in East Sac. We bought a fixer with a ton of dry rot issues, specifically on the flat roof portion over the additions. Cisco was up front with the range of cost associated with replacing the plywood that was rotted out, and gave us a variety of choices of roof shingles for the main roof. The underlayment they use is bulletproof, as well as the their flat roof membrane. We reached out to him, and he was quick to respond to give us a free estimate. We are super pleased with our new roof installed by Francisco's team. The tear off people were incredibly efficient, even though our site had some difficult access. They cleaned up conscientiously and made sure to go over the entire area with a magnet looking for nails and other metals that could cut our tires. The new installation looks wonderful and we appreciated that Francisco was the ONLY bidder who actually did the math on what kind and how many attic vents we should have. We really enjoyed Cisco and his team. They were professional and allowed my husband to see what they were working on and what needed repairs. The additions from the original quote weren't ridiculously high and made sense after seeing more once on the roof. So I would say they charged a fair price. They installed both a new roof and covered gutters as well as fixed some dry rot. It all went quickly in the allotted time they told us it would. In 2013 we bought our home and a friend recommended Cisco roofing. They came out and inspected our new home and said the garage area needed to be replaced. In 2015 we had a patio added and again called Cisco roofing to install a new roof on the patio. Since then Cisco roofing has come out 2 different times, because of leaks. First time they said it wasn't their fault and fixed the problem and charged me. Second time they came out, because I was concerned of water damage to my office door jams coming from the valley in the roof. After inspecting the area, they said there was nothing wrong with the roof; that was October 2022. With the rain we have had here in Sacramento this year, 2022/2023, exposed the flaws in Cisco roofing's work. I was tired of calling Cisco roofing and called another company. Two leaks fixed costing us $3,000+. New roofing company stated that Cisco roofing did a poor job. We will get several estimates this spring to see if we need a new roof, but Cisco roofing will not be one of them! What a pleasant experience. Recommended by a neighbor, I called Cisco to get my last bid. The next day he drove by our home, took his measurements, and responded that day by email, with a detailed and comprehensive bid meeting all our requirements. The next week I informed Cisco that he was on my short list and to provide locations of other recent work. He invited me to join his crew at a site several miles away. That morning I was welcomed by Paco, his father, and his friendly crew. I was free to walk the extent of the project to see their choice of materials and methods of installation. I followed up the next day with detailed questions. His answers were thorough and his recommendation well received. Four days later we met and signed our contract. We scheduled the project to begin in two weeks time. A previous project was delayed due to our 7 day above 100 degree weather conditions. Cisco explained that his crew needed to stop work early each day so as to not damage the new shingles which can tear when subject to high temperatures. Cisco scheduled a week for completion and met his milestones each day. The site was well maintained, with cleanup each day. I called Cisco's Roofing, along with a handful of other roofing contractors, to get an estimate on removal and replacement of my old roof. Francisco was the first contractor to get back to me and the first to set an appointment. Francisco showed up on time for the appointment and returned his bid within a day. I had three layers of shingles on my roof along with A LOT of dry rot. Now, Cisco's wasn't the lowest bid but he was the only contractor to follow up with a phone call and go over, in great detail, all the work he planned on doing and he was the only contractor to be completely upfront about the dry rot issue and the additional costs to repair it. Other contractors simply fired off an email with a base price and never bothered to explain their plan or even mention the dry rot. We scheduled the job with Cisco's and while his crew was out here they were polite, professional, and fast. Francisco kept me informed every step of the way on the job progress and was informative and helpful. The job came in right at the bid price and on time. I couldn't be happier with the job Francisco and his crew did, the roof looks beautiful and just the way I wanted it to. The time to replace the old wood shake roof on our house had arrived. So, I checked Angie's List, Yelp, and talked to friends about reliable and professional roofers to install a new composition roof on our two-story house. I selected three roofing companies, including Cisco's Roofing, to give price estimates and talk about their work. Cisco was the only company that actually went on top of the house to look at the work needed. The other two companies relied on Google Earth photos. Cisco was the only company to describe, in detail, how the job would go and options for us to consider, plus pointing out a couple of potential concerns that might need to be addressed along the way. We went with Cisco's (each company used the same material preferences we wanted). Cisco's was the lowest price and the most thorough. The roof tear-off crew were quick and professional, cleaning up all debris that inadvertently fell on the ground. The material supply company were also professional and hardworking. The quality of the roof is outstanding and Cisco's work ethic was so professional and the team is polite and knowledgeable about their craft. I called Francisco just before closing time on a Friday. Not only did he answer the call, but he told me he would stop by on his way home. Shortly after that he arrived. There was some urgency on my part because it had rained and the roof was leaking. The was also a massive storm predicted for the following day. Francisco got on the roof, identified the problem and fixed it on the spot. He also fixed a few other tiles on the roof that were loose, without charging me extra for it. Emergency calls usually command a highly inflated price. Francisco was more than fair with me on the price and I couldn't be any happier. He was prompt, courteous, friendly, efficient and fair.
