Citgo has never portrayed itself to be a "flashy" gas station/convenience store. That being stated, this one STILL fell below the standard I would place this chain under. First, let us look at the layout and organizational method used by the management. This opening sentence is longer than the thought they took on it because there is none. The sides of the store a lined with empty marketing stands, or stacked with (possibly out-of-date) products. It was difficult to find products because the had no definitive rhyme or reason. The second largest issue I had with this stop was the restrooms. I know with most of these out-of-high traffic stops they may not take the same care as, let's say, state welcome centers. Yet these had a stench, so potent, that it appeared even cockroaches couldn't survive. When I say "appeared", I mean it quite literally. There were two, large cockroaches belly up around the bathroom facilities. I would go on, but honestly I feel that it would just be redundant. It's quite obvious how this establishment received the review that it did. I would say if you're in the area and need a potty break or gas, go across the street. The gas is the same price and the facilities could be a lot better. read more

I'm addicted to the Iced Mocha Latte. Two options are really good to eat other than the donuts (which I'm not a fan of) White cheddar maple sausage croissant and the everything bagel with cream cheese! I'm here 3 days a week!!! P.S. if you just have to have a Donut.... Krispy Kreme 1 mile down the road.

Date of Visit: March 11, 2022. The review is based on the gas station, self pay only. I did not go…read moreinto the business store front. The location was easy to get into and out of. The pumps, hoses and handles were extremely clean. The display was easy to read. The credit card swipe had the insert and card lock feature. Alternatively it also had the option of tap and pay. The outside grounds were clean, and it had some flower pots around the ends of the pump area. They had available clean and in tact windshield brushes, with filled solution. They offered pull down paper towels which were filled. Their gas prices were in line within 4 cents of stations within a mile. When I requested a receipt from the pump, it actually printed one instead of being out of paper. It's extremely rare smaller places are very neat and orderly, pumps very clean and all supplies and receipt paper available. There was also outside bathrooms available, but I didn't go into them. Bravo and many thanks to your business for nailing all of this. Next time I'll visit inside as well. If I am in the area again I will definitely visit here again.

I had the chicken, catfish and chicken but the sides were the star of the show. Collard greens were the best I've ever had. Pot pie was outstanding. Mac and cheese good also. I got the collards three day in a row. Very spicy and large strips of bacon. All made on premise. Worth a stop off exit 6.
