A good sign was that the local carabinieri were eating their lunch there - this is a fabulous setting for a lunch on a sunny day - you could literally throw a bread roll into Lake Garda from the outside terrace. The staff are very friendly (and dog friendly, with water bowls available), and very patient with non-italian speakers - which is just as well. The portions are generous and reasonably priced. Just the place to spend a long afternoon with lunch and then the remains of the house red to finish off.

The Chef, Frabrizio, is from Garda Lake and his wife, Myrna, is from the USA. We ordered wine and the food was Wonderful, everything fresh....what I had seen on TV, I was experiencing it first hand.
