I'm a retiree and worked for the city of New York for over 30 years. I called my primary insurer and my secondary insurer and each one told me that the insurance information was never provided. As soon as you come in they want to see insurance and ID. I have also heard some other horror stories from other people. If you can go somewhere else, GO !

I've been seeing Dr. Ericksen for about 9 yrs and I cannot speak highly enough of her. Years ago…read moreshe shared she inherited the practice and it has been such a blessing having her as my Ob/Gyn. The office is full service in that they have regular Ob/Gyn services and ultra sound services on specific days of the week. There are several doctors there even though I've only ever seen Dr. Ericksen. The office is pretty busy and recently after some unpleasant events in the neighborhood they've had to reduce their hours to maintain the safety of workers and patients. Appointments are necessary even though you can walk in. Just note that even when there is an appointment you'll still have to wait on average for about an hr. I don't mind because a good dr with whom you have rapport is very hard to come by. Prior to seeing Dr. Ericksen I went o another popular female dr an she was great but her staff was rude and unprofessional. Not here! The ladies are super professional and will make you feel comfortable. The one complaint I have is that the rooms are always frigid and you wait there for a while barely dressed waiting for the doctor. Besides that you're in great hands of the staff here. I worry about when Dr. Ericksen retires who I will end up with but I pray that's no time soon.

The waiting area has more chairs to accommodate patients. Let me just say, Dr. Andrews has great bedside manner, and the office does blood work onsite, without having to go to Quest Diagnostic which is a plus. However, the wait time is extremely long. During my last visit my appointment was for 12:45 , I arrived 15 mins early as instructed during online check-in. I waited in the waiting room for about 10 mins. Once I got into the exam room, they took my vitals and after that the wait began, After waiting 30 mins I checked with the front desk to see what was taking so long, they assured me I was next. I went back inside to wait. while sitting in the exam room for another 15 mins I heard Dr. Andrews going into another room seeing another patient. I had to leave without being seen, total wait time one hour. Staff was apologetic and offered to reschedule

We arrived right when they opened and the front desk lady was very helpful along with being incredibly professional. Far better than anything experienced in Los Angeles. I recently visited this urgent care facility and unfortunately had a very disappointing and…read moreunsettling experience. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist was extremely rude, confrontational, and honestly made me feel threatened. I approached her with complete respect, stayed calm and positive, and tried to be as polite as possible. Despite this, she continued to be hostile toward me. It got to the point where I actually started wondering if I had done something wrong simply by walking in with a good attitude. Patients come to urgent care vulnerable and in need of help and they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, not hostility and aggression. The receptionist is the first person patients see, and she sets the tone for the entire visit. Her attitude immediately left a bad taste in my mouth and created a very uncomfortable environment. It seemed like she might have been upset about having to work on a weekend or was simply miserable, but regardless of what she may be going through personally, that is not an excuse for treating patients poorly. She should not be in a role that requires interacting with patients or handling sensitive billing information. In addition to this, I had to wait an hour and 45 minutes to be seen. I work in healthcare myself, so I understand that there are often things going on behind the scenes that patients can't see and I remained patient. Even with that understanding, this was an unusually long and frustrating wait. To make matters worse, another patient accidentally walked into my exam room, making the environment feel even more chaotic and unsafe. On a positive note, the physician assistants and the scribe who helped me during my visit were very kind, compassionate, and professional. The scribe, in particular, was incredibly sweet, and I truly wish her the best in her career moving forward. Their professionalism helped soften an otherwise very negative experience. Unfortunately, I also overheard staff loudly cursing in the hallways within earshot of patients. Regardless of the status of the neighborhood, professionalism, respect, and a sense of safety must be maintained at all times in a healthcare setting. Patients deserve better. From now on I'll be seeking my care out on Long Island.

I do not believe the bodily "donations" are examined on premises but sent elsewhere to a lab for results.
