The equipment they do have is very high quality but I wouldn't really recommend it . I am a very regular gym user I go almost every day and this just isn't the sort of place you would want to spend much time . For one thing there are always obvious drunks hanging around outside and it never looks like it would take them long to start begging and pestering you . The place is very expensive for what you get .

We saw two different types of deer (the red deer were huge, majestic and beautiful!) The lake was pretty, with plenty of geese, swans, ducks and even herons to watch/ feed. It was pretty enough in early spring before the leaves all turned green, so I imagine this park would be even better in sunnier weather! Apparently there are five hundred acres of parkland, but as large sections are kept as a nature reserve, the walkways were not actually that long or strenuous. It's perfect for a sunday afternoon stroll. Ooor if you'd like to do something even less strenuous, on some Sundays they even run 'segway tours' around the grounds!! Beauuuuutiful.

There are deer there but used to be lots more animals - cows, horses, chickens, donkeys etc but they had to take them away. The industrial museum and Wollaton Hall are still both interesting places to visit. And there are many events held there such as the Splendour music festival, the Autokarna, and various craft fairs. They made the bizarre decision of building a big, out of place kids play park on the old football pitch, which looks horrendous but aside from that Wollaton Park is a great day out
